Charcoal BBQ’d Chicken Wings.

BBQ chicken wings using my Weber charcoal kettle grill.
About 50min cooking time on indirect heat (on a day that was 7 degrees celsius with slight wind). Your cook time will vary.

Recipe:
About 2Kg chicken wings (marinated overnight).
Marinade
*A spoonful each of paprika powder, cayenne powder, chilli flakes, cajun spice, ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder
*Honey or brown sugar
*Soya sauce
*Extra virgin olive oil (or cooking oil of your choice)

*I don’t usually measure out ingredients, so the above is all to your own taste.

hello everyone welcome back to the Jolifestyle if you’re new here pleasesubscribe to my Channel today I’m gonnashow you how I make barbecue chickenwings okay so the first thing you needare chicken wings and according to thepackage there is 2.2 kilograms ofchicken wings in this bowl I mean I’mcooking for other people the next thingyou need to do is make your marinade soI have some paprika here and a generousspoonful and I have some cayenne pepperanother generous spoonful and I havesome chili flakes and you can be asgenerous as you want with these thingsI have some sriracha limewhat the hell up – I put that in thereand I have some Cajun some Cajun spiceput that in there as well maybe a bitmore and you of course you need someground pepperthe only meat y’all pepper and then ascarlet powder I want you know a decentspoonful of that as well[Music]and then some onion powder that’s likeenough and then I’d like to add somehoney I don’t have honey or you coulduse brown sugar whatever you wantbecause you need a little bit of sweetto counter the hot and spicypretty good and then of course you putsome soya sauce in there you don’treally need to add salt because there’senough salt in this soy sauce and thenof course I like to add oil in here thisis extra virgin olive oil because it isone of the barbecue give us a good mix[Music]okay so now that your marinade is mixedwell I like to pour it into the chickenand then of course you have to mix themarinade with the chicken and I’ve gotsome generic plastic gloves on it causeit’s a little messy[Music]all right so now that everything ismixed well and the fabulous marinade ispenetrating the chicken wings you putthis in the fridge overnight and we’regood to go we’ll see you tomorrow it’sthe next dayand it’s a bomb being seven degreesoutside and slightly windy it’s abeautiful day for social distancingbarbecue then again any day’s a good dayfor a barbecue there it is the barbecueit is a basic weber charcoal kettlelet’s get this baby fired up so we’rejust about ready to fire this baby up soI’ve got some newsprint down there andsome untreated kindling and a small pileof charcoal and just want to point outthat there’s vents down there on thebottom Bowl I just like to keep thoseopen all right so we’ve got the coalsgoing nice and red nice and glowy and webanked all the coals to one side becausewe’re going to cook our chicken wingswith indirect heat now we’ll just putthe cover on and let the kettle get upto temperature while the kettle is up totemperatures so I slap those babies onthere and we’ll leave them on there for20 minutes check on the minute leavethem on there for another 20 minutesafter[Music]all right so it’s been about 50 minutesgive or take and you can see there’ssome char action having there I thinkthese babies are good to go[Music]oh yeah babythat’s spicy chart that’s shark businesshey thanks for watching I hope youenjoyed that video and just to summarizeit was about seven degrees outside sothose Wings took about 50 minutes and ifyou prefer charcoal over gas bbq’s likemyselfpost some links below and once againplease hit the like button feel free toleave a comment and subscribe to mychannel and we will see you in the nextvideo[Music]
