Chicken Wings
A popular starter for all age groups, a perfect blend of sweet-sour and spice!! Chicken that is juicy on the inside crispy outside. A perfect starter to start your party!!!
Ingredients
Chicken wings- 500gms
Corn flour – 4
teaspoons
Pepper powder – 1 teaspoon
Egg-1
Salt – 1/2
teaspoon
Finely chopped Onion- 1 medium
Spring onions and onion bulb chopped- 3-4 tablespoons
Capsicums chopped – 1cup(color of your choice)
Onion petals-1/4 cup
Chopped Garlic – 5 cloves
Green chillies – 2
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Soya sauce-1teaspoon
Vinegar – 1 teaspoon
Sugar/honey -1teaspoon
Tomato sauce-4 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Method
1. Marinate the chicken with cornflour, egg, pepper powder and salt and set aside for half an hour.
2. Fry the marinated chicken till well cooked and brown, for about 8-10mins.
3. In a pan, heat oil and add chopped green chillies and garlic and saute for a minute, add chopped onion and saute till soft and pink.
4. Add the bell peppers and onion petals and saute.
5. Add chilli powder, soya sauce, sugar, tomato sauce and saute(adjust the seasoning to your taste)
6. Add the fried pieces of chicken and saute till well coated in the sauce, taste the salt. Add the vinegar and saute on medium-high flame.
7. Add spring onions, keep a tablespoon for garnishing and saute & the dish is ready !!
