when I guys welcome to my third vlog onthe marlon torres vlogs channel welcometo another video guys today I’m gonna doanother cooking video because we havenothing better to vlog during quarantineanyways yeah today we’re going to throwsome wings on the grill and we’re gonnado some kabobs as well I’m gonna talk toyou guys about a recipe that I found forpeople with acid reflux as well and ofcourse my wife is gonna help me andguide us and walk us through all this solet’s get this vlog started let’s do it[Music]okay I’m gonna have Julie explain to youguys in detail what we’re doing what I’mgonna share with you guys is like I saidwe’re doing some wings we’re doing somekabobs some chicken kabobs and some beefkabobs but my main thing today is thewings because I have acid reflux issuesand so I wanted to share with you guys arecipe that I found online from herfoodie calm which is a blog that has abunch of recipes for people that havegastro esophageal issues like I do whatdo we got me so we’re gonna use amarinade that we found on her websitefor grilled chicken wings and we’regonna actually marinate all of thechicken wings in that and then half ofthem will do with like some barbecuesauce and then the other half will leaveplaying for for him so let’s go aheadand prep it we’re gonna show you howwe’re gonna prep that all right Julie sowhat I’m under here let’s let’s talkabout what ingredients are using gotchawe’re gonna start off with the bonelessskinless chicken thighs a little bitlimited what you can find here in termsof poultry at least in our area but Iwas able to get a pack of bonelessskinless chicken thighs so that bringssix and I’m gonna go ahead and do aquick teriyaki marinade I used a quartercup or a third of a cup of teriyakisauce a little under a quarter cup ofolive oil and then I’m gonna go aheadand grate about one teaspoon of freshginger in there with the garlic honeyjust whisking this all together and thenwe’re just gonna pour it over thechicken and by the way this marinade iswhat we’re doing is is all the wings aregonna be meriting marinated using thiswhat we’re gonna do differently is use adifferent type of barbecue sauce which Ican’t have but that’s a whole separateissue yeah let’s go and get this goinghere how we doing this okay so we’regonna use the mason jar cuz themeasurements are right there and we’regonna do 1 cup of vinegar 1/2 a cup ofoil and then a teaspoon each of poultryseasoning the paprika and salt we haveour apple cider vinegar with the motherin it and now just gonna pour in somecanola oil and we’re gonna do what huhyeahcovergirl also yep half a cup 1 cup ofvinegar and half a cup of oil and thiswill really the vinegar actually willtenderize the wings pretty well I don’tknow if you guys have ever done likeyour turkey in a brine so it’s kind ofthe same concept 1 teaspoon yes of saltwe’re gonna do 1 teaspoon of poultryseasoning and then one teaspoon of thepaprika shake that’s all we have atnight mixed up nicely yeah just go aheadpour it in and we’re gonna let thosesoak in there for a bit let me get themideally you want to let these marinatefor about 4 to 5 hours I’d say but thiswas kind of improvised and we’ll let itsit for about two and then we’ll comeback and throw them on the grill ok sonow we’re going to prepare our kebabs orbeef kebabs all we have is the the beefonions and the peppers we don’t have anymushrooms or anything we’re working withwhat we got and that’s perfectly finewe’ve got the salt and pepper and thenwe have this rub which is the savoryBevacqua rub it’s been this is prettygood rub got a little six little beefkebabslike I said beef onions peppers that’swhat we’re working with got the rub thesalt and pepper on it let’s go ahead andight the grillall right already got to set up got my22 inch Weber like good old trusttrustee Weber I got a cube in therewe’re gonna light this up real quickand get this this going all set let’s goall right I think the coals are ready tobe laid out I’m gonna do the half andhalf just put them on this half overhere that we just put this here likethat kind of spread them out evenly I’mgonna cover this up a little bit just toclean the grill up a little bit after yawarms up real good just rotating hererotating the grill time to clean it up alittle bit sure there’s nothing stuck toitgotta bring out the citronella becausethis is Florida and bugs are everywhereall the time so trying to keep them awaya little bit I’m gonna move this in asec so here we go what you do is I don’tknow if you guys are do this but there’ssomething I learned when I was young inPanama you grab an onion and just run itacross the hot grill like that and ithelps for the stick and it helps cleanthe stuff off a little bit loosen thisstuff on there and you’re good to go I’mgonna go ahead and add some polenta aswell that little bottle over yo ha thenbut are you so let’s start cooking allright so what we’re gonna do is we’regonna put the wings on first we’re gonnaput them on this side and we’re gonnalet them see you’re real quick and thesesear really quick so you got to makesure you turn on and then we’re going tomove them into indirect heatgood yeah good yeah here I’m afraid thatI didn’t put enough well I let it burntoo long so now we’re gonna go ahead andput the chicken breast kebabs so theseare seared pretty good yep and we’rejust gonna move them over here right ifthey layer on each other we’re gonnacook there for about 20 minutes 30minutes yeah we’re gonna have todefinitely put more oil yeah what Idon’t want to do is burn these whichthey’re not gonna get burnt but sincethese have that a little honey in themanything with like that sugar in thereyou got to really watch that it’llcaramelize real quick all right let’scheck on them here yep everything’slooking good they were nice and seared Ithink pretty soon we can start saucingthem up and let’s get our meat on go andput these on and they smell deliciousput the polenta on the side you saidyeah that’s fine I’ll just turn thesebad boys over and they’re looking atdelicious they’re looking great go aheadand put some barbecue sauce on the meatnot all of them because not everybodylikes the barbecue hey what kind ofbarbecue what was like talking about thebarbecue sauce here we’re just using abottle sweet baby Ray’s done with that Ilike sweet memories so for the chickenski skewers we’re just using a littlebit of classic sauce themewe’re going to take the meat out and putit on here cupboard yeah check that offthat’s good all right living prone tolose a little more yeah cook them alittle more I’m gonna put sauce on thatside and then turn them they look greatyeah so we’re gonna leave these in hereabout 10 more minutes they should beready and uh we’ll cover them up alittle bit longerthese right here babe these are minethat aren’t gonna have any barbecuesauce on itall right guys it’s really really hotout here I’m just drinking some ice-coldwater actually it’s about 85 but sinceI’m on the grill it feels much hotterall right babe Cheers oh man I’m beatthe grill was extremely hot and it’s noteven full something yeah but we’re justrelaxing a little bit before we go eatour kids are helping us out therehooking up the table so we’re gonna gotake you know check that out in a secondwe’re just gonna try one of each realquick and see how it came out that’s oneof your chicken wings mm-hmm they’rereally good I won’t have to try one ofthe barbecue ones because mine is theplain one but the marinade the applecider vinegar is on point honestly it isnow why don’t that one come buddyI’m just gonna try a little bit of thebeef kabob because I shouldn’t reallyeat that much meat I may have one I meanyou can have some every now and thenrightnice and tender crispy on the outsidethat one that little piece I had I thinkwas a little burnt but it really mmmthat rub what is it that barbacoa rubtastes really good mmm this is reallygood
