Ingredients:
Pork Rib 10 bones long
Korean soy bean paste 1 tbsp
green onion (roughly cut) 1-2 stalk
ginger slices a few
ground coffee 2 tbsp
garlic (roughly cut) 4-5 cloves
homemade BBQ sauce as much as you need
(or sauce of your choice)
Note:
Please refer to the video “Korean Fried Chicken Wings” for the homemade BBQ sauce.
Cooking method:
1. Cook ribs in boiling water for 5-7 min. Put some cooking wine and a few ginger slices in the water while boiling.
2. Rinse away all the dirt on the meat and put them in a pressure cooker.
3. Put the rest of the ingredients (except the BBQ sauce) in the pressure cooker.
4. Add hot water to cover two-third of the ribs.
5. With low pressure, in a stew/meat setting, cook for about 25 min.
*Cooking time is less than the default cooking time of stew/meat setting since we have cooked the pork for a while previously.
6. When the pork ribs are done, take them out.
7. With low heat in a wok, slowly cook with homemade BBQ sauce until sauce are fully absorbed and coated on the meat.
