[Music][Music]hey thanks for tuning in and watchingold smoking Steve today we got somethingspecial we’re going to grill some porkchops but we’re putting a little extratwist in there we’re going to be doing aroot beer glazed pork chop this is goingto be I’m called a double root beer porkchop we’re going to hit it on the frontend we’re going to marinate those porkchops and a root beer and put them inthe fridge overnight and next day we’llgrill them up and at the end of the timeof grilling just before they’re donewe’re going to put a root beer glaze onthere we’re gonna get mixed upso I’ve already had the pork chopsmarinating in the refrigerator overnightand here’s what we’ve gotthey’re still in there swimming away sowhat I did let’s take a pork loin andcut that pork loin up and then two porkchops approximately an inch thick andthat’s what we’re going to use today sobe sure you stick around check this outsee how they’re gonna taste at the endand maybe you want to try this so let’sget busy and get this a root beer glazeall mixed up and we’ll show you whatwe’re going to use okay here’s wherewe’re going to be using for a root beerglaze we’re gonna be first of all beusing the one can of root beer anyflavor you like this came from Walmartand we seem to like that as well as anyof them so we’re gonna use one can ofthat use salt and pepper to tasteokay we’ll build that we’re going to useone cup of beef broth two tablespoons ofbrown sugar just paste light brown sugarand we’re going to be using a half ateaspoon of Sriracha hot sauce and alsotwo teaspoons of Worcestershire sauceokayand what we’re going to do is take allthose ingredients and mix it up in abowl our pan rather and bring it out toa medium heat and we’re gonna let thatsimmer and mix that up until it reducesto about 3/4 of a cup then we’ll setthat aside and wait to the pork chopswere just about done and put that glazeon there so let’s get this all mixed upand get around a pan and get her goingokay we got our ingredients in the panhereand we got it over medium heat and we’regoing to let that heat up and then whenI that mixer up and reduce that down toabout three-quarters of a cup just setit aside so that’s not a simmer here andif you come back take a look at[Music]okay guys we’ve got this balling up herepretty good so we’re gonna go ahead andreduce the heat and let it simmer stirit occasionally and we want this andreduced down to 3/4 cup by the timeit’ll be a lot thicker than what it isnow for sure so I let this simmer andreduce and we’ll come back to it okaythere’s Russia’s nipping naka 5-iron tenminutes that’s quite a process kind oflike what’s a tank right there’s goingto be well worth itI made some root beer plays beef ribshere a while backand they were excellent be sure to checkthat video out if you like beef ribsthey were really good so we’re almost tothe point where this is cooked longenough still a little bit running we’regoing to love that go a little bitlonger taking it up a little bit itshould be ready to go so let’s let cookhere a little bit more okay got thatroot beer glaze off the stove now here’swhat we wound up with probably littlelessons requires with cup this is whatwe gotI tasted it it really tasted good Ithink this is gonna be a big success butI’m gonna go with like that grill get upto about 350 now I will put themporkchops on and put that glaze on thereand we’ll get back to it once they’redone and do a taste test so be sure tostick around okay we’ve got this screwup to 352 ahead get these chops put oni got7 I’m going to put it up here isthat like I told you before I took thepork loin and cut up into pork chopyou can also use a bone-in pork chopthis root beer glaze with also be goodonbeef ribs pork ribs it’s whatever youwant to put it on just adds a little bitof flavor so let’s get these[Music]okay I flip these pork chops over mymugs go ahead and put some glaze onthere I want to try to get these pulledoff of about 145 degrees that’s why I’mshooting for on these pork chops they’llbe down to 45 and 45 should be a maximummoisture and me so this blaze reallyturns out nicejust about rightlike that little syrupsome all about that to cook on there fora little bit then I’m gonna flip themover and who’s on the other sideokay guys it’s time got those pork chopsbrought inside they’ve been sitting herein here for two or three minuteschilling out old smokin Steve’s a littleimpatient so I’m going in for the tastetest tell me a little bike cut off heretake a look at that I pulled them atabout 145 degrees internal temperaturethat glaze went on good it was smellinggood that blueberry glaze let’s give ita try good love the sweetness it’s justreally good give it a try on the porktenderloin bone-in pork chops beef ribspork ribs whatever you want to do it’sgood stuff and it’s worth the effortgive it a try thanks for watching giveme a thumbs up hope to see you on thenext one[Music]
