START TO FINISH ONE POT BBQ BABY BACK RIBS | INSTANT POT AIR FRYER LID RECIPES
Today I wanted to make bbq ribs in the instant pot start to finish in one pot. This recipe is great for the instant pot air fryer lid, and the instant pot duo crisp. In the video I pressure cook semi frozen baby back ribs, and air fry the sauce onto the ribs once they are complete. No more oven! This is the best technique ever to make bbq baby back ribs in the instant pot without having to use an oven 🙂

[Music]hey guys what is up it should go Rachelwhen nighttime mommy reviews and todaywe’re making ribs from start to finishin the instant pot using the instant potair fryer lid you guys this is agame-changer this can finish the ribsthe instant pot can finish the ribs inone pot that’s right one pot we did thisfrom start to finish the sauce iscaramelized on the ribs what’s the pointof an oven now so now we have ourinstant pot air fryer ribs and they aredelicious you guys you guys are gonnasee how easy it is to make and they’reawesome I did the ribs in 60 minutes topressure-cook because mine were stillfrozen and you’ll see that in the videobut if your guys’s are not frozen youcould do 40 minutes and then use theinstant pot air fryer lid like we do inthe video to finish them off but onecup of apple juice we will need salt totaste and I’m sorry salt to taste andpepper to tastethe barbecue sauce will come after whenwe bring in our airfryer lid but forright now we’re just gonna go ahead andpressure cook the ribs they are aboutsemi frozen stillwhen I was getting them apart they werestill kind of toughthey’re soft on the outside but you cantell that they’re frozen on me inside sowhat I’m gonna do isI’m just gonna pour the one cup of applejuice into the instant pot you will needyour trivet which oh my gosh and we aregoing to season the ribs and this isjust a that’s a put pepper and salt totaste you can add your favorite dry rubif you want I just let them thaw alittle bit just so it’s a little biteasier but they’re not in completelyfrozen I want this to be thawed so it’sjust we’re gonna do this to both sidesokay I’m just gonna rub it in if youhave that dry rub you’re rubbing that inyou can make the ribs to your preferenceI did I had them cut in about everythree ribs just to make it a littleeasier since the whole rack won’t fit inthe instant pot I can’t remember okaythen one more pepper a bit more saltflavor there okay doesn’t have to beperfect it’s going in the pressurecookerall right okay so you’re just gonna addyour ribs and you could have themstacked on top of each other that’sperfectly fine okay so now we’re gonnaget our lid but let me wash my hands andI’ll be right back okayso we’re gonna put our lid on we’regonna put the valve to ceilingdon’t forget that and we’re gonna dopressure cook on high and we are goingto do it for one hour that way we couldquick quick release so we’re gonna setit for an hour we’ll let the pressurebuild and we’ll be back when that houris complete and we should be able tohave fall off the bone ribs and all wehave to do is marinate it in the or addthe barbecue sauce so we’re gonna comeback in an hour okay so our ribs are nowfinished so we’re gonna go ahead and doa quick release[Music]all right so we’re gonna go ahead andshut off the instant pot and then let’sgo ahead and bring out the ribs oh mygod they look and smell delicious ohit’s already falling apart all right sonow that we have our ribs and it mightget a little steamy you’re gonna goahead and grab your sauce and you’rejust gonna pour it on you can usewhatever sauce you guys like I’m usingbull’s eye original this is what myfamily likes but I know I’ve heard aboutif Dave’s rub I think it isDave’s sauce or something along thoselines I heard it’s really good I have totry it out but we have bull’s-eyes sowe’re gonna go ahead and do bullseye andwe’re gonna do this to both sides youcan already see it’s falling apart withme just rubbing it let me see that sojust rub gentlyokay and then we’ll flip it over tryingto be as careful as I can and I washedthis mat before I just did again just incase in the last time I got a comment Ijust want to make sure you guys know Iwashed the mat before I put the ribs onit again I’m just gonna add the sauce Iput a lot of sauce or not that’s allrightthey’re really really tender you guysokay so now what I’m gonna do I’m gonnago ahead and dump the liquid that’s inhere I’m gonna dump the liquid in theinstant pot and then bring out the airfryer lid and we will air fry the sauceon top of it to caramelize it and we’llbe back okay so now I added the ribs tothe pot and I just kind of put them onthe sides of each other and they it’sokay if they touch each other that’sperfectly fine so now we’re gonna justadd our lid and we’re gonna go ahead anddo airfryer 400 degrees we’re gonna dosix minutes allow that to caramelize andwe’ll be back so this we gotta startright all right so now we’ll be back allright now they’re doneso we’re going to go ahead and actuallylook at that oh my gosh you look amazinglet’s get a closer look we’ll bring themout okay let’s see they’re falling apartjust like we want okayokay so I’ll go ahead and bring thecamera closer over here that way youguys can see them and we’ll do the tastetest all right all right so now we haveour up-close look at the ribs and I justwant to show you guys up close I knowit’s already pretty zoomed in but closeand just no effort just no effortwhatsoever they literally look at thatjust falls right off the bone so let’sgo ahead and do the taste test I’ll justtake a little piece mmm nice and tenderthe sauce is caramelized on the outsideit is so tasty oh my god so tastyso that is how you would make ribs inthe instant pot using the instant potair fryer lid to caramelize the sauceyou guys now you can finish it all inone pot it truly is one dish one potthat you’re using to cook the ribs fromstart to finishnow I did 60 minutes for the ribsbecause mine were still frozen if yoursare not frozen I probably do around 40minutes but
