Instant Pot BBQ Pulled Pork, with Pimento Cheese

[Music]tonight we’re gonna make barbecue pulledpork this is about a two and a halfpound boneless pork loin and what you’regonna need I have this going it’s gonnago in my instant pot you could do it inthe slow cooker but I’m gonna do it thisway it’s half thawed so you need a canof soda I’m using this we’re gonna usesome brown sugar mm-hmm and then somebarbecue sauce so so all you’re gonna dois just pour your soda into your pot and[Music]our barbecue sauce I was gonna do thisoutside but I just don’t really have thetime just sit and babysit it today soI’m gonna add some barbecue sauce andthen I’m gonna add some brown sugar Ithink it added about a quarter cup ofbrown sugar just to the top of this andthen I’m gonna add my lid for about 90minutes on manual high and then we’regonna make some pimento cheese to gowith it one of my favorite barbequesandwiches the place that that I like toget them from they serve it on toastwith pimento cheese it’s really good soI’m since we’re not doing takeout we’regonna do this so 90 minutes and thenit’ll natural release all right let’s goahead and make our pimento cheese okayso we’re gonna make the pimento cheese Ihave the recipe because I don’t reallyknow how many people actually like thisso it’s four ounces of cream cheesesoftenedyou can you know if you want to make awhole lot obviously you would use a fullblock of cheese this is 2 ounces ofdiced pimentos drained and I have mildcheddar shredded on hand and I’m goingto use with me sharp cheddar and I’musing 1 cup approximately and our spicesare going to be onion powder and garlicpowder pepper to taste so it wouldreally be since I have two recipeit’s 1/8 of a teaspoon of onion powderand 1/8 of a teaspoon of garlic powderand it’s salt and pepper to taste and Iam going to add in a little bit ofcayenne pepper just for a little extraheat at this point you could also add insome diced jalapenos if you wanted alittle extra heat but I’m going to thoseand I am going to use one tablespoonMayo and now the other good thing thatyou can if you like pimento cheese nowmy mom used to make this piment well shewould make her I don’t really rememberbut she would give it to us on breadlike a sandwiches but a lot of peopleserve it with crackers like as a dip andthat’s really goodyou can just make like a grilled cheesesandwich with it I’m going to add it toour barbecue pork tonight so what I’mgonna do here since this is all mixed upI am just going to cover it and put itin refrigerator the longer it sets thebetter it is so it’s really really easyto make you saw how quick that was andit’s also very delicious so I’m going toput that upokay the pork is all done I naturallyrelease that for a while I shredded itall it is just now like sitting in thejuices staying warm until it’s ready toeatand until we make up our sandwiches soyep that’s what’s for dinner tonight andI’ll show you how we assemble thesandwiches it’s time to assemble oursandwiches have some butter take it I’mactually just gonna it’s still kind oflike not soft so I’m just gonna like putit on take a pad of butter split it inhalf it’ll it’ll mount good trust meokay I have my skillet preheating sohere’s what you do put the butter sidestogetherthe pimento cheese goes on there now Ikind of set that out so it would softena little bitso you spread that on your sandwichbreadthat’s the first part this gets a littlemessyOhsoI’m gonna put this butter side down inthe pieceokay then you’re going to take your meatover here and I am draining off thejuiceand then you add your second piece ofbread okay now when this is all nice andtoasty like I already know it is as Ichecked it I’m just gonna take it andyou’re gonna flip it yeah yeah you smashit down a little bit and let that Brownup on that side and then you just repeatthis steps until you have it all in[Music][Music][Music]here is the end product our barbecuepulled pork and I have pimento cheese onmine and then we made potato skins aswell so I hope you enjoyed this reallyeasy thanks so much for sticking aroundtonight please give this video a thumbsup don’t forget to subscribe and we’llsee you next timesee ya
