I grilled frozen pork chops in the Ninja Foodi grill-how did they come out? Well you’ll have to watch the video lol. Let’s just put it this way , I won’t be doing this again. It was a good experiment to see if it worked but maybe I should have only cooked it to 145 degrees? Well the person who I was cooking these for doesn’t care for pink pork. When I air crisped these or grilled the chops they are great!

welcome everybody today we’re going tobe using the ninja foodie grill we’regoing to be cooking two frozen porkchops and then into foodie grill we’regoing to follow the directions that theyrecommend for frozen pork chops the onlydifference between this and those porkchopsthose are bone-in these are boneless nowfrom frozen it says turn the grill tomedium and you’re gonna cook for 20 or23 minutes so we’re gonna cook them for20 minutes and we might have to tack ona few extra minutes due to the bone butwe’re not quite sure because we’ve neverdone this before this is just anexperiment one’s going to be sprayedwith avocado oil salt and pepper andperhaps a little garlic will be addedthe other one we’re gonna see if we canget shake and bake to stick to a frozenpork chop I have to admit I reallyreally love shaking baked pork chops Iknow I know and we’re set up so come onover and let’s get this pork chops partystartedto start you want to make sure yourceramic pan is in here we’re just goingto go ahead and place the ninja foodiegrill grate right in there your mesh isinserted it’s like a metal mesh thatprotects the burner we’re gonna go aheadand lower the lid we’re gonna turn theminto foodie grill on grill we’re gonnago we’re going to select medium which is450 degrees and I’m just gonna hit startwe’re preheating right now I’ll adjustthe time when we add the pork chops sothese are two frozen pork chops you cansee the frost that’s on them alsothey’re hard as a rock so like I saidbefore we’re gonna do one and shake andbake and we’re gonna do the other onewith avocado oil salt pepper and garlicso let’s just get started on the shakingbig one so to get started with the shakeand bake we’re gonna take that shakenbake we’re just gonna put it right in inthe bag it’s going to take that porkchop it’s gonna put in some water likethey said put it in a little water andnow we’re gonna put it directly rightinto the bagthis works cross your fingers beepscross your fingers shake shake shakeshake it since I haven’t figured out toput music into the videos yet you’regonna have to put up with my singingshake shake shake alright let’s see howwe did here alright it’s not bad it’s afine coating which is fine we’re gonnasee how this cooks up you put that offto the side now the second chop we’regonna take some avocado oillet’s give it a light spray that shouldbe good right there we’re going to betaking some pepper putting that right onthere a little bit of salt and a littlebit of garlic now of course you alwaysseason both sides flip the guy overspray it with a little bit of oil alittle bit of peppera little bit of salt and a little bit ofgarlic beautiful these chops are readythese frozen chops are ready for theninja foodie grill we just have to waitfor it to preheat looks like we have oneto two minutes left on that the ninjafruity grill is telling me to add thefood I’m gonna go ahead and open it upI’m gonna take my tongs whoathese are slippery chops oh we got alittle bit of a sizzle and we’re gonnaput the other one right here there we gogo ahead and lower the lid the timedefaults to 10 minutes so what we’regonna do is increase the time I’m gonnaset it for whoops the max which is the23 minutes that they recommend forboneless pork chopsthese are bone-in so we may have to go alittle bit further but of others likeothers have found that the ninja fruitygrilled sometimes cooks things much muchquicker so it’s been 11 minutes I’mgonna raise the top these pork chops Imean they look really really good I’mgonna flip them and this is when you’regonna find look at that look at thatgrill mark beautiful this is when you’regonna find your ninja foodie grillsmoking a lot is when you flip items ofmeat so he’s gonna immediately shut thelid and we have 12 minutes and 44seconds left we have four minutes leftI’m just gonna pop the top neat I meanthese pork chops are looking really goodflip it again the shaking baits gettinga little dark as you can seelook at that so you might want to putthat one I think how it was before therewe go all right since we have it open Ido want to do a quick temp on these porkchops just for funMatt we’re at 1:23 wellthis pork chop is done you knowsomething I’m gonna pull that one andwe’re gonna cook the shake and bake onea little bit longer gorgeous look atthat look at that I reset that I’m gonnaput this one in the center and it’sgonna shut the lid okay so we have aminute and 40 seconds left let’s attemptthis guy Wow so says 141 this is insanethe charge of a thermometer gettingconcerned no yeah temperature shootwe’re gonna let it cook for the full 23minutes Wow I just can’t believe thedifference in chops not sure if it’s thecoating or what it is interesting wehave 10 seconds left I am gonna meetStephen jump it up there who made it wehad like four seconds left so I wantedto add like another minute or two I’mgonna go ahead and add two minutesbecause it wasn’t um it’s still sad like141 I’ll probably take it I’ll check itin one more minute so that’ll bring thetime up for the shake-and-bake porkchops to 24 minutes where the other porkchop cooked in 19 minutes so I find itrather interesting they’re about thesame thickness they’re not really it’snot that much different between them Iwill show you both when we do the tastetest so we have one minute left on a popthe top the shake-and-bake is gettingreally really darkall right that’s done the carryover isgonna make sure that’s done enough forthe way we want it it’ll bring it upprobably to like 155 to 160but there’s the shake and bake pork chopa little bit of red brown around theedges it’s not too bad I mean it looksfine I’m gonna go ahead and shut theninja foodie grille off leave it open soit can cooldown and you can wash everything here’swhat they look like prior to the tastetestguys want to bring that up that is usingjust a bit that’s how thick that one isso I am thinking I think around the bonearea it’s slightly thicker but you knowsomething it’s not that much thicker butit only took a few extra minutes so wehave this pork chop done in 19 minutesand this pork chop is done in 24 minutesthey both look fantastic by the way butI’m gonna let them cool so the juicesdon’t run out when we cut into them andthen we’re gonna do that taste test timefor that taste test we have a plain porkchop well I shouldn’t say playing fromfrozen pork chop salt pepper garliccooked on medium which is 450 on thegrill for 19 minutes this is pork chopnumber 2 we decided to shake and bake italso cooked at the same temperaturetimewise this one took 24 minutes theyboth look good they’re just these porkchops are just what you can get at thesupermarket it’s whatever you pick up ona package I didn’t want to go outlandishand get like super thick pork chops thisis what most people have in their homesthis is what most people pick up on theway home from work so let’s get to thattaste testI know I always give a shake and bakefirst but let’s go to the one withgarlic and stuff no that’s inside peashere hmmwell chewy a little dry yeah this one’svery very dry not gonna lie um Iprobably I don’t know I don’t know it’sjust they’re very dry so let’s go to theshakin big onehopefully this won’t be better mm-hmmstill chewy umit’s actually more moist than the otherone yeah it’s much moister than theother one but is it still the way Iwould want it no these pork chops needwork I’m not sure if you actually take apork chop from frozen and cook it thisway maybe it overcooks it or dries itout please leave a comment in
