Simple recipe for Teriyaki Grilled Pork Chops… Simple grilling for 30 minutes. This recipe, and others, can be found at www.grillingoutloud.com
Teriyaki Grilled Pork Chop Marinade
• 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
• 1/4 Cup of Soy Sauce
• 1/4 Cup of Teriyaki Sauce
• 1 Tspn of Salt
• 1 Tspn of Black Pepper
• 1 Tspn of Onion Powder
• 1 Tspn of Garlic Powder
• 1 Tspn of Brown Sugar
1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl with a container or ziplock bag
2. Place pork chops (4) in bowl/ bag and let marinate in fridge for at least an hour
3. Start your grill and create a cool zone, where there will be no coals to burn your pork chops, by pushing hot coals to 1/3 side of our grill (Trying to avoid direct heat with the sugar in the marinade-which will lead to burning the pork chops)
4. When ready to grill; remove pork chops from marinade and place directly over coals
5. Grill for 5-7 minutes and then flip. After each side has had a chance to grill for 5-7 minutes. Place pork chops on the cool zone of your grill (off main coals)
6. You will grill each side for 5-7 minutes and continue to turn for 20-25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145 degrees
7. Allow pork chops to rest for 5-8 minutes before you begin to cut and serve
