THAI GRILLED PORK SALAD or Nam Tok Moo Recipe (หนูนำ้ตก)-My Own Version

How about let’s try Thai Pork Salad or Nam Tok Moo!

Nam Tok, is a Thai northeastern dish, usually served with sticky rice (or regular Jasmine rice) and fresh vegetables. It’s one of my favourite dishes as it’s fast and easy to make, & the ingredients are easy to find and yet, and yet the dish is full of Thai flavours. It’s so easy to make too. You’re basically just grilling meat, seasoning and tossing into a salad.

By the way guys, you can add all the hotness of chilies..

This is just my super simple version! Let’s not make it hard😋😋

Ing:
Pork meat- this will be grilled
Fish sauce
Palm sugar/ light brown sugar
Lime
Red shallot or normal onions
Spring onions
Roasted and mounded glutinous rice
Mint
Coriander
Black ground pepper
Chili flakes

[Music]sohello everyone what’s up and welcomeback again to my channeland today we’re gonna make a thai porksaladand we’re gonna start by marinating theporkwe have to add first put first thefish sauce just enough fishsauceadd some ground black pepper[Music]and some amount of palm sugar orlight brown sugar will do andmix it until all the ingredients areor i mean the sugar is completely[Music]dissolved[Music]then add our big sliced porkand by the way guys you can use beefmeatmine is i love the one withfats actually this thai pork salad theydon’t usuallyuse the meat that hasfat but me i love when there’s a littlebit offat it makesour salad you know tastes reallyporky porky yeahand so after that we have to leave ourmarinade pour for a couple of minuteslike maybe 30 minutes will do and if youhave enoughtime one hour so thatthe sauce will really absorb[Music]now let’s go to our next ingredientwhichis the roasted glutinous rice or thesticky ricewe have to mount it we have to grind itfinely using a mortar andpestle and if you have another machineor whatever you can use just to grindtheglutinous rice that will do just have tofind really do it really fine[Music]and next is grilling time for our pork[Music]you don’t need to grill the pork in awell done manayou just have to leave it like you needthe pork to belike juicy inside because that’s how theway the type works solid mustbut if you liked wilder thing then it’sup to you guys[Music][Music]then after it’s done we have to set itasidefor a little bit for just to cool downjust a little bitbecause we need the meat to warm up nowlet’s prepare the other ingredientsstart by putting fishsauce again ourmain ingredients one of the main regionsis the fishsauce yeah and thenadd palm sugar or the light brown sugar[Music]actually i put a lot butyou can just add less or more up to youguys it depends on your tiesanyway now remember the glutinous riserin my underground earlierwe have to add all of themthat will you know that will add a reallikethai flavor[Music]then let’s cut a piece with two lime donot uselemon because the taste is different weneed to usethe lime guys just squeeze itand later on you need to includethe peel the skin when you’re gonna mixherporkafter this guys you’re supposed to addchilibut then my husband doesn’t like veryhard or very spicy stuffso i had to add it at the end andyou know if i really want very spicysaladthen i have to separate my bowl[Music]then most especially guys you have totaste itfor you if it’s fine or it needsmorei use the normal only in the greenonions because i don’t have thisred shallots so i just use itand it just tastes the same[Music]then let’s chop our pork thinlyand it’s important so that it willincorporate with oursolid later[Music][Music][Music]and i added fresh mintfrom our garden[Music][Music]and it just can’t stop myself grace fromtasting itit’s not a crime[Music]then i just add more herbs like springonionsand parsley since i don’t have really afresh corianderbut later on i have to add like theseeds from corianderi just have to grind them[Music]hey and i add a little amount of chiliit’s up to you how spicy you want itcheese it’s all done guysand it smells so good and ittastes so good and i’m so happythat my husband really loved itand thanks for watching everyone and ihope you like thistype of salad video of mine and pleasedon’t forget toclick like and subscribe thank yougodyou
