In this video, I’m showing how to make Tonjiru (Pork Miso Soup).

Ingredients are below, also at the end of the video. (2-3 servings)

– 50g of thin sliced pork belly
– 30g of daikon
– 30g of carrot
– 1/4 of onion
– 10g of spring onion
– 3 cups of water
– 4-5 tbs of miso

The amount of pork and vegetables are up to you

hi guys it’s ime welcome to my youtubechannel today I’m going to use thesepork belly I got this from Costco we usethin sliced pork belly a lot in Japan soI was really happy when I found it itwas a little bit expensive for me thoughanyway today I’m going to make tonzurawhich is Japanese the famous pork ofmiso soup with a lot of vegetables solet’s get started I’m using a disk iconwhich has transformed into zombie I leftit in the fridge so long so it became azombie but you can still use it it looksterrible though peel off daikon and cutit into small pieces you’re in accordwith me together[Music]next I’m cutting onions this onion isnot zombie look at my faceI’m so angry at onion anyway I’m takingbunny on the call-out I think this isnot usual in many countries I think thisis a Japanese thing after onion I’mcutting a carrot the peel has a lot ofan intuition but I don’t like the tasteof like strong flavor of carrot so Ipeel off then cut it into small pieces[Music]lastly I’m gonna add spring onions whenI buy spring onions it always comes likea bunch so I normally cover root withwet tissue and then wrap it and stand itin the fridge it will last longer springonion can’t be old so I’m checkingstrictly daikon is fine then cut it intosmall pieces I like spring onions so Inormally cut it thick next our starvegetables so I grabbed oil pot justturning around and then shake chair soweird also I forget to film this processbut just our vegetables with oil andthen after all the vegetables cooked alittle bit I will add a port then cookpork well somehow I’m crushing the emptyair pack weirdafter color of pork is changed add somewater I really wanted to eat a lot soulI added three soup cups of water thenboil it a few minutes later came off thescum that rises to the surface of thesoupand then add some missile I normally putone and a half tablespoon over missilefor one sit-up then mix well to melt amissile if it feels like lightlyseasoned you can add more missile if youhave ajinomoto I recommend you to add itit gives deeper taste after all of themissile is melted it’s done Lexia meand somehow it’s all good that’s all[Music]here is the ingredient that I used todaybut the amount of pork and vegetablesare up to you if you like it please giveme thumbs up and please subscribe mychannel thank you for watching see youin the next video bye[Music]
