Well, Happy New Year to you all! It’s been a few weeks since we last shared a video and we hope that you managed to enjoy yourselves over the holidays!
Today we ask the question: Do the raspberries add a fruity zip, or does the vodka add a potent kick?
CaJohn’s – Mesquite Smoked Raspberry Vodka New-Mex BBQ Sauce .. whoa … that’s a whole lotta description on the label. No room for guessing what this one will taste like!
In a departure from our normal “hot sauce” tastings, we wanted to try another BBQ sauce to see if there might be an excuse to make a grill in the middle of winter. According to Simon, this sauce is better than his favorite sauce (ketchup) … maybe … we can’t really tell what his final verdict was, but we think he enjoyed it. For sure David and Dulcidio enjoyed it, but – let’s face it – they like almost everything. In the end, there is a definitive sweetness up front from the raspberries, a lack of anything vodka related (trust us, we live in Poland and we KNOW vodka … and potatoes), and a BBQ flavor that takes David back to his childhood.
