all right we’re gonna make some pulledpork it’s three steps it is so easy infact it is so easy we’re gonna do ahomemade barbecue sauce as like a basebarbecue sauce that you can modifyhowever you want but this is super funand easy and I think you’re gonna lovedoing it all right so here’s the team wegot three of the five horsemen they’resage rosemary and thyme about eightcloves of that field and vacuum-sealedgarlic love that product some brownsugar some Worcestershire sauce some redwine vinegar got an onion then we’regonna mince up real fine and then sometomato paste and some mustard and thenyou get to add this whatever it is you’dlike about barbecue so mince up yourherbs real fine or if you’d rather usethe dried stuff throw this stuff rightin the pot because we’re gonna heat itto combine it all after the herbs we’regonna get after that garlic again we’reminced superfinenow we need to mince up that onion infact when I got it minced up real fine Idecided half an onion was enough tomatopaste is going in a lotta barbecuerecipes call for ketchup which isbasically tomato paste and sugar andsome spices so we’re just doing thatmanually ourselves all right so we’regonna squirt it in about a tablespoon ofmustard if you like really mustardmustard even ones then do more threetablespoons of red wine vinegar I preferred wine we’re going to vinegar overwhite vinegar for this but again yourchoice and then after that fourtablespoons of Worcestershire and thenwe’ll be ready to add the sugar we endup going with about half a cup of sugarhereif you like a really sweet barbecuesauce then you can increase this amountas wellof course we gotta go with six or eightgrinds of black pepper and teaspoonteaspoon and a half of kosher salt andthen to make this all play on the stovetop to get it mixed we’re gonna go withabout a cup and a half of water allright quick time out if there’s abarbecue sauce that you already lovethen just pick some of that up at thestore and you can skip all those stepsup to this point and you’ll just beadding from your store-bought bottle asopposed to from the stuff that we mixedon the stovetop that mix is going to beat medium heat we’re just really tryingto get it all combinedyou see I’ve dropped a pork shoulderinto one of the giganto Ziploc bags andI’ve got my fully mixed-up barbecuesauce here now and we’re just gonna pourthe liquid into the giganto bag and thenwe’re gonna sort of roll and fold thisto get most of the air out and then it’sgoing in the fridge for at least 12hours there’s the heavy duty crock-potand after at least 12 hours preferably24 you’re just going to pour this stuffinto the crock pot set it on high andlet it go at least eight hours I didthis one overnight came out nice and forfork-tenderokay super important step here convinceyourself that it’s fourth bubbleonce you’ve convinced yourself you canpull it out put it in whatever kind ofdish you’re gonna keep it in or leave itin the crock-pot and pull it thereeither way you’re gonna pull this withthe forks get it all nice and shreddedif you’re having trouble doing this it’snot done go back in the crock-potand then once you got it all pulled thentake some of that sauce that’s in thepot that also has a plenty of good porkfat flavor in it now and ladle it overand you were gonna be good to go you’regonna have pulled pork sandwiches fordays this is good and again this is justa base barbecue sauce so you can livenit up any way you want to you eat thishowever you like I love myself a goodpulled pork sandwich so I’ll grab somekaiser rolls from the store last time Iwas there and I’m just gonna layer someof this delicious pork on this bread andthat’s how I like to eat it some peoplelike pickles coleslaw again howeveryou’d like to go with your pork but touse a phrase that my YouTube herobabish uses this definitely made it inthe clean plate club so this iscomically easy if you have a storebought barbecue sauce you like it’sliterally three steps your marinade yeahcooking the crock-pot and you pull withforks that barbecue sauce we made is anice base barbecue sauce liven it uphowever you likewould caution you against making it toospicyin case somebody in the house doesn’tlike spicy I actually like this basesauce and then I hit it with a littlehot sauce right before I eat as a way toget spicy without burning my wife’s faceoff but give this a try super easy andit’ll remind you of some good stuff thatyou pay big big money for and theeconomy
