BBQ Chicken Wings Recipe

Seasoning we use on the wings (coverage for 42 wings):
WALTWINS “Usual Suspects:”
1 tbs. Salt
1/2 tbs. Pepper
1 tbs. Garlic Powder
1/2 tbs. Onion Powder
1/2 tbs. Adobo
1 tbs. Accent
*Use seasonings to your taste! – place all ingredients in a bowl, shake or mix to ensure even distribution. Place in small bowl or shaker to use in any of your favorite dishes!

For this cook – Mix seasoning evenly over wings – we recommend “stirring” in the ingredients with the wings in a large bowl.

Griddle Cook:
On med/low heat (surface temp will vary, we had 380-440 degrees), place approx. 2-3 tbs vegetable oil on the griddle. Lay the wings in the oil and cook, constantly turning the wings (to keep from burning). Continue process until the outside of the wings are crispy, and the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165 degrees (*NOTE – WINGS COOKED ABOVE 180 WERE MUCH CRISPIER – SOME REACHED 190-200!). Once done, pull to a cooling rack or plate. To add BBQ sauce, place wings back on the griddle, and baste with BBQ sauce, covering all of the wings liberally, and mix until hot and the sauce begins to crisp. Pull and serve with your favorite side sauces!
