Roasted chicken with Oriental BBQ sauce
Ingredients:
2 pcs big drumstick chicken
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oriental BBQ sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp Oyster sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp cooking wine
1/2 tsp salt
80ml of water
Method:
1)Use a fork to prick the chicken a few times on both sides. Add all the seasonings,mixture well and marinate for 15 hours or overnight.
2)After 15 hours,place the marinade chicken on the stainless steel stand and set aside.
3)Place 2 layers of aluminum foil into the wok,cover with lid and heat up over high flame for 1 minute. Remember to stick the hole in the lid with cellophane tape.
4)Then place the chicken with stand into the wok,cover with lid to roast over medium-low flame for 30 minutes.
5)Take the chicken out and apply a layer of honey and oriental BBQ sauce together.
Place back the chicken on the top of stainless steel stand and cover with lid to roast over medium-low flame for 10 minutes.
6)Apply a layer of oriental BBQ sauce and roast for another 5 minutes.
7)Take it out,cut in big pieces and place in serving plate. Serve immediately with chicken rice chili.(optional)
