Peach BBQ Sauce
We made a Peach BBQ sauce with rum that is sugar free and keto friendly. We took some butter and added it to a sauce pot.
Once the butter melted we added our onions and sweated them down. Once the onions were soft we added all of our remaining
ingredients and whisked until smooth. Once the sauce has come together continue to cook on a low simmer for 5 mins to allow
the sauce to reduce and the rum flavor to cook out.
2 tbs butter
1/4 cup of onions
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 tsp ground ginger
6 oz sugar free peach preserves
1 tsp brown sugar substitute
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp ground mustard
1 oz rum
