SUPER EASY CAULIFLOWER WITH HOMEMADE PLANT-BASED BARBECUE SAUCE⎜SUGAR-FREE⎜OIL-FREE

This cauliflower is superb and what makes it so special is my delicious unique sauce: a homemade whole foods plant-based barbecue sauce, sugar-free and oil-free but crazy delicious!

INGREDIENTS:
1 head of cauliflower
1 cup of low sodium oil-free tomato sauce
1/4 cup of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of tomato puree
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons of mustard
1 teaspoon of garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic
1 teaspoon of onion powder or 1 small onion diced
1/3 teaspoon of ginger powder or 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger, minced
1 teaspoon of smoked paprika or 1/2 teaspoon of liquid smoke
1/9 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of clove powder
black pepper to taste
5 to 6 dates (no pits) or 2 to 3 tablespoons of brown sugar
water if necessary

METHOD:

Separate your cauliflower into small florets, put them in a casserole dish. Reserve.
Make the barbecue sauce:
In a small pot, add the remainder of the ingredients, mix to combine, let it simmer for 2 to 5 minutes in low simmer, turn off the heat, add the sauce to a blender along with the dates, blend well.
Distribute the BBQ sauce on top of the cauliflower and put it in a NON-PREHEATED OVEN at 400℉ for about 30 to 40 minutes. 5 minutes before the finished cooking time, turn on the broiler and let it broiling for about 3 minutes.

[Music]hi everyone this is Jenna here welcometo my channel if you’re new here and ifyou are not new welcome back I havemissed you didn’t miss me bet you didnow we’re going to make something umwe’re going to make a superfoodcauliflower I think it’s the cheapest ofthe superfoods that we have around thereand the reason why it’s because um whenyou purchase it it tends to last a longtime and that’s amazing and also becauseit’s um a crowd-pleaser and we don’tneed any more reasons actually we justwant to make it in a barbecue saucehomemade barbecue sauceI saw a chef a Brazilian chef make itAudrey Kerr and I fell in love with therecipe and I’m gonna link down below herchannel please go check her out andwe’re gonna make it plant-based no oilhow about thatno sugar however Beth I am super excitedso let’s go to the recipe because I knowyou complain that I talk too much at thebeginning so let’s make it first we’regoing to make the sauce and it’s deadeasy no mystery ingredient you don’tneed to worry about running to thesupermarket because at this time wecan’t I mean we’re supposed to usewhatever you have at home oh that’sanother reason why I wanted to make thisbecause it’s going to use everything youyou probably already have a new fridgethat’s marked so we take tomato saucewhat tomato sauce you favorite I’m usingmy own tomato sauce that I have a recipefor recipe on the cards over there butyou can use be quiet but you can use anykind of tomato sauce of a preferencealone to that we’re going to add ourhomemade wishes your sauce also likejust eyeball it – some apple cidervinegar soy sauce a little bit ofmustard some tomato puree and now forthe spices what I have here is garlicpowder onion powder pepper a pinch ofclove powder smoked paprika or liquidsmoke a pinch of cinnamon a pinch andsome ginger powder all in and we aregoing to mix to incorporate so now wejust wait until it comes to a simmer andwe’re gonna let it simmering in a verylight simmer for two minutes and this isit and the cauliflowers they are rockobviously washed but they are raw andthen we’re gonna put it in a tray or ina baking sheet or in a casserole dishwherever you want to put it in andthey’re gonna leave it in the oven for30 minutesdepending on how big your cauliflower isyour florets are and this is it easypeasy lemon squeezy in the name nowbecause we’re not going to use sugar butif you want to use sugar because um youwant to or because you don’t have datesat home please use brown sugar okaybecause the sugar here is not only toeat to wear them sweetness but also toadd flavor and if you use brown sugar orMuscovado sugar andwe’ll give these a little bit moresmoked flavor to your barbecue sauce sothat’s very important but here I’m usingdates and I’ll just blend it alright andnow the difficult part not we’re goingto put the cauliflower in the plate tryto put the florets up so it looks nicerbecause we eat first with our eyes rightnow you just put it all over yourcauliflower we don’t want to save it wewant it all here this is going to glazebecause of the sugar and five minutesbefore you remove from the oven I wantyou to put your grill up and leave itgrilling for three to five minutes so wehave a little bit more extra smokinesson the top and let’s go[Music]look at these come on guyslook at these oh my god I absolutelylove it I am the world’s I mean this isso impressive because it’s so darnsimple don’t go buy barbecue sauce youdon’t have to stuff your body with extraunneeded and unnecessary and healthysugars and too much salt and sodium makethese a whole food plant-based I mean Iadded soy sauce if you want to add lesssoy sauce it’s up to you and the tomatosauce that I used I have used oil in itbut if you want to opt out for wholefood plant-based Tomatoes also make yourown even better so very few calories andextra amazing flavors I can’t try itright now because it’s smoking hot andI’m gonna get burned but boy I’m gonnadig in and I’m gonna eat not the wholething cuz I can’t but if I could I wouldso this is it for today I hope you haveenjoyed it and let me know in thecomments below what is the book thatyou’re reading during these socialdistancing distancing and what is itthat you’re doing that you try to keep aprompter productive my English is like Ihave waves you know sometimes it’s goodsometimes sometimes it’s awful andunfortunately today is awful so you’regonna have to put up with me sorry aboutthatand yeah but let me know and if you makethis tag me on Instagramthis is it my lovelies please be kind toeach other take care of each other and Isee you next time have a fabulous weekbye[Music]
