Season turkey wings to your liking, allow to marinate at least 2 hours, bake covered on 400 degrees for 2 hours.
Orange BBQ Sauce:
– 3 cups of BBQ sauce
– 1 tsp orange zest
– 3/4 cup orange juice (taste as you go)
– 1 tsp mustard
– 1 tbsp ketchup
– 1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar
– 1 tbsp chili paste (optional)
Cole Slaw:
– 1 small cabbage
– 3 to 4 carrots
– small red onion chopped finely
– Mayo as desired
– 1 tsp vinegar
– Salt (optional)
– 2 tsp sugar
– 1 tsp black pepper (optional)
Rice Pilaf: Simmer on low fire 20-25 minutes, covered
– 3 cups of rice
– 1 chopped onion
– 3 tbsp butter
– sprigs of thyme (optional)
– 5 cups of water
– salt to taste

welcome back everyone I am so excited toshare my menu with you today on today’smenu I’ll show you how I make mybarbecue turkey wings and that’s notjust any barbecue it’s gonna be orangeflavored barbecue turkey wings to gowith that I would serve it with somerice on some coleslaw so we’re gonna getstarted right away from a Turkey’salready season I’m gonna empty theturkey in the oven and maybe cook it forabout two hours because I like my turkeyto be really nice and juicy nice andsoft and I had this marinated for overfor over eight hours I had it seasonedand put in the fridge since yesterday soyeah so that’s that’s it I’m just goingto put in the oven let it do its thingand prepare my coleslaw and my rice okayso for my coleslaw I’m gonna use a wholesmall cabbage and I’m gonna use thethicker of the shredded side for mygreens and then I’m going to use thesmaller side for my carrotsmy strands to be and I will stillutilize this but I might just cut it upwith a knife pretty fine chop it upfinely but that’s why I like my greensto be ok and now it’s time for mycarrots[Music]okay so for my coleslaw a finisher thanthe cabbage the carrots of added someonions that’s optional I’m gonna addsome black pepper that’s also optionalsome sugar some meal and when you add inmeal add your meal gradually you don’twant to add too much and then yourcoleslaw is too like Safi you want it toyou don’t want to overpower it with mealso that it takes a week from the crunchbut usually when I make coleslaw I justdo cabbage carrots and mayoI hardly add the stuff that you saw meadd in here today but I don’t know whatmade me choose to go this road I guess Ijust wanted to make it a little bitspecial you know to add a little extraflavor but all of those things areoptional your base for coleslaw iscabbage and carrot so I had a few piecesof cabbage that did not fully great butthis is not gonna be served to anybodyoutside of the household so I’m like heyI don’t here and they shouldn’t eitherright okay I’m gonna add a little moremeal just a very maybe one moretablespoon okay that’s itand you just give everything a good mixthat’s all there is to itthen I’m going to add about half ateaspoon to wael teaspoon of vinegar youcan add lime juice if you want or youcan leave it out also it’s optional butthe vinegar we’ll just have to cutthrough the fat from the middleokay so I’m gonna set that aside put itin the refrigerator to cool down a bitand I’ll get started on my barbecuesauce hey guys so after about two hoursI just remove my turkey from the ovenand I’m gonna show you how I put mysauce my orange flavored barbecue sauceso here I have my barbecue sauce useyour favorite I have some ketchup somemustard a little orange zest some chilipeas which is optional I just wanted alittle kick tips and some brush somebrown sugar and the juice of worldfreshly squeezed orange juice you canuse whatever orange juice you want itcan be from concentrate it can be fromthe from the boxI had fresh oranges so I just squeezedthem I’m gonna give everything i mix tryto mix well so everything is fullyincorporated and you want the sugargranules to dissolve completely[Applause][Applause][Applause]okay I’m gonna add my juice a little ata time it doesn’t matter if pop gets inthere but you don’t want the seeds inthere we’re gonna add a little lowerand the rest of it and make sure you’vetaste your sauce so you know taste it asyou go along my sauce is ready I’m gonnajust take and apply over the turkeyyou can use a brush if you want I don’tfeel like it or not a brush becausethat’s one extra thing to wash so I’mnot going to use a brushand I’m gonna give the pan a littleto make sure that everything is coatedincluding the bottom of the turkey okayso back in the oven for maybe a 15 to 20minutes okay so it’s no time to preparemy rice I have here about a little morethan 2 cups of rice maybe two and a halfcups I have some onions here about threetablespoons of butter some thyme andsome parsley that I have two choppedsalt and pepper I’m gonna make my ricepilaf style so I’m just waiting for mypart and then I’m gonna add my butterand my onions I may add a little timeand that’s it I’m gonna just let thatthat onion sweat out a little bit beforeadd in the next ingredients my parsleyis only for garnish okay so my pot ishot I’m gonna add my butter[Music]add a little mouth and then I’m gonnaadd my audienceuntil they stopped us what I’ll become alittle comes inside[Music][Music][Music][Music][Music]if you wanted you could also add somebarley if you want to garnish it up youcan add some peas and carrots if youwant it to make yellow right you couldadd some turmeric so whatever you wantbut this is just the base the basis youstart with butter you notice and thenyou add some onions to sweatI like to call it[Music]I’m just letting my rights get a littlebit don’t want my rights to stick I justwant to get a little toastyyou don’t call out the bottomthat’s not burn that’s letting you knowit’s soft enough nice twinkle I’mtelling you if only you could smell ohyeah I already know this is gonna bebeautiful and here[Music]okay so about two minutes of absenceI’ve been toasting up my rice I know I’mgonna add the water I’m user water butif you want it you can use chicken stock[Music]and it’s not burning but it’s possibleand my daughter said the aroma isNicholas II I wanna teach but it’s notready yetall right waterall right that’s it for the stirring I’mgonna pump I’m gonna cover it and put iton a medium to low heat so it can sum upaway so my rice is ready I taste it yesit’s soft so I’m gonna just fluff it abit and I do have to say I added alittle extra water because I could use alittle more than 2 cups of rice so alittle of a full cup so I would sayprobably about 5 cups all right so I’llshow you what my plate looks like at theendWow gorgeous and here you have it myorange barbecue turkey wings with ricepilaf coleslaw and I just served it witha little bit of sliced tomatoes I meantry my rice first[Music]and my turkey as sole succulent theorange flavor is coming through verynicetwisted Mike also amazingso
