5-Minute BEEF Steak DONBURI | 牛扒丼饭

I am a beef lover. I am creating a simple, easy beef dish with Japanese Teriyaki BBQ sauce – Beef Steak Donburi – for people that like simple recipe. The steak is fried with thyme and garlic to produce a good aromatic smell and the sweetness from the BBQ sauce makes it tastes even better. The steak is best accompanied with Japanese white rice, a half-boiled egg and some seasonal greens, to make the perfect delicious dish! Enjoy!

这是一道简单又好吃的牛扒丼饭,平时我爱煎洋式牛扒吃,因为这里的牛肉便宜又好吃。有时候忙没时间煮,我就会做这道菜。我把日式照烧酱和洋式牛扒方法搭配在一起,牛扒肉切小块,熟得快又好吃。再加入半生熟的鸡蛋,让白饭更香滑,配上生豆苗和西洋菜,非常好吃!这里的外国人都是生吃豆苗和西洋菜,我是来到国外才知道生豆苗和西洋菜是那么的好吃。

Ingredients:
Beef steak 250g | 牛扒牛肉 250 克
Japanese Rice 2 bowl | 日本米饭 2 碗
Teriyaki BBQ sauce | 日式照烧烤酱
Garlic 3 cloves | 蒜 3 瓣
Thyme 1 tsp | 百里香 1 茶匙
Black pepper (coarse) 1 tsp | 粗黑胡椒 1 茶匙
Seasonal greens | 青菜
Salt ½ tsp | 盐 ½ 茶匙
Egg 1 | 蛋 1 粒
Butter | 牛油少许
Cooking oil | 食用油少许

Important Notes:
00:36 | Longer cooking time if you prefer a harder egg yolk
00:40 | Recommending Ribeye for beef steak for better meat texture
02:18 | Ideally, fry for 30 seconds. Do not overcook the beef
03:42 | Own preferences for Seasonal greens. Example: Pea shoots and watercress
