Barbecued beef brisket

This beef brisket is barbecued in the oven on low temp for 3 hours or more .Super yummy and perfect for weekend dinner with friends and family .you can cook the day before so it’s tastier .

Ingredients

1 kilo beef brisket
1 big onion
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp tomato paste
Bay leaves
2cups chicken or beef stock
1CUP beer
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon coriander powder
Fennel seeds
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper

Procedure

Mix salt and pepper ,cumin , paprika ,cumin and fennel .rub the spice to the beef.
Preheat your oven to 350 .
Heat oil in a Pan and sear the beef.remove the beef and on the same pan add more oil and fry onions ,add sugar ,tomato paste and mix for few minutes.add bay leaves ,stock and beer and let it boil.put the beef to pan and let it simmer for few minutes.transfer to the baking dish and roast for 3 hours or more .you can it longer if you want the meat to be super soft .
