Welcome to Horny Ramen where we look at all things ramen and anything else I love to eat.
Today we are going to do some BEEF RIBS following a recipe by DivasCanCook. I’m going in blind here because I’ve never made them before so we will call this a Dutch Rudder episode.
The recipe is really easy to follow. It’s just a dry rub, bake, sauce and broil.
The results were so good, I made them again 3 times since then!
Ingredients (as I used them)
6 beef ribs
3 tbsp – olive oil
DRY RUB
1/2 tsp – dry hickory smoke
1 tbsp – garlic powder
1 tbsp – onion powder
2 tbsp – dark brown sugar packed
1 tsp – cayenne pepper (I know, I said chili powder in the video…)
1 tsp – salt
1 tsp – paprika
2 tsp – oregano
BBQ SAUCE
Diana’s Chicken & Rib BBQ sauce
Coat ribs in oil, then rub in the dry rub. Let sit for at least 2 hours ( i left them overnight).
Bake in the center of the oven, tightly tented in foil, at 250F (121C) for 3.5-4hours.
When they are done, take them out, drain the fat and broil for 5-10 minutes on the top rack.
THIS PART GOES QUICK SO KEEP AN EYE ON THEM! 3 minutes could be enough.
