[Music]good afternoon today I thought I wouldshow you how to make Thai beef saladbefore I begin if you like my contentplease like and subscribe you can findme on Facebook at the hobby bird I’llput the link in the description belowhit that little belly icon and you’llget a notice whenever I post a new videoso here are the ingredients for Thaibeef salad for the dressing we have somefresh coriander 2 lines 2 tablespoons ofsugar 2 red chilies I just use Cayennechilies because I did burns I are alittle too hot for me but she was whatyou want if you wanted the really reallyspicy go for the Birdseye but those aretoo high and chilies I have 3tablespoons of fish sauce 2 tablespoonsof Greek nut oil we have beef this issirloin this is 450 grams 150 grams perperson we have mixed greens this is Ibelieve radicchio frisée and romainelettucewe have peanuts for garnish we have amedley of tomatoes half a cucumber andtwo spring onionswe will also need salt and pepper toseason the meat okay so we’re going tobegin with just we’re going to be usinga pestle and mortar but so we don’t haveto work too hard at itI’m going to just slice up these chiliesa little bit so that it’s not so hard tobreak them down I scrape out the seedsthat’s not necessary you want them inthere just makes it a little spicier[Music]youwe’re just going to add these to ourmortar a very important ingredientwhenever I went over the grid is reallywe need two cloves of garlic in thisrecipe take the ends off and again I’mjust going to just take them down alittle so I don’t have to work so hardwith the pestle mortar should be finegonna roll our lives just get them readyI’m going to take a bunch of thiscilantro or coriander whatever you wantto call it this way here we have ourgarlic or chilies and a coriander andwe’re just going to start pounding[Music]okay so we’re gonna help this alonglittles we’re gonna have the sugar justto add a little texture the coarsenesswill help break this down a little moreso you’re just gonna add the sugar inthere[Music]okay now we’re ready to add our oil andthe fish sauce and could be into bettermonthsI’m just gonna taste this I make surethat it’s balanced mmm that is so goodI’ll just transfer all of thisand to complete our salad to thesegreens we’re going to add or of thiscoriander which I’m also going to justlet me chop and we have these beautifultomatoes which I’m just going to havemake sure to wash them first[Music]never had our cucumberthe nurse bring our handsand then it’s garnished you can take itanother chili pepper and justso our salad is ready so we’re justwaiting for the steaks to be grilled andthen I will show you what it looks likewhen it’s plated upso we’ve let these get to or come up toroom temperatures and now we’re justgoing to salt and pepper them before weput them on the grill[Music]all right so we’re gonna put our six on[Music]we’re gonna have two minutes on eachside and another two minutes okay so nowthey’ve been up for total four minutestwo on each side and they should beperfect so we’re just going to put themaside there and let them rest untilwe’re ready to slice hope you liked therecipe have a great afternoon[Music]
