Barbeque Chicken Wings | Good Food with Sumitra

BARBEQUE CHICKEN WINGS
Prep Time- 10 mins
Cooking Time- 30 mins
Serves- 5-6

INGREDIENTS
For Chicken wings
Chicken wings- 12-14
Black pepper powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
Butter milk- 1 1/2 cup
Flour- 1/2 cup
Rice flour- 1/2 cup
Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Salt- to taste

For Barbeque Sauce
Oil-1 tbsp
Chopped garlic- 5
Onion-1/2
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Chilli sauce- 1 tbsp
Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
Soya sauce- 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- to taste
Cornflour-1/2 tbsp
Water- 1 cup
Honey- 1tsp

METHOD
For Chicken wings-
-Marinate the chicken wings well with black pepper powder (1 tsp), ginger garlic paste (1 tbsp), butter milk (1 1/2 cup) and salt (to taste).
-Keep aside for 1-2 hr.
-Make a dry mixture of flour (1/2 cup), rice flour (1/2 cup) , black pepper powder (1/2 tsp)
chilli powder (1 tsp), salt (to taste).
-Coat the marinated chicken wings with the dry mixture.
-Deep fry the coated chicken wings on medium flame, till golden brown.
For Barbeque sauce-
-In a small kadai add oil (1 tbsp) and chopped garlic (5).
-Add chopped onion (1/2) and chilli powder (1/2 tsp). Sauté it well for 1-2mins.
-Add chilli sauce (1 tbsp), tomato sauce (2 tbsp), soya sauce (1/2 tsp), black pepper powder (1/2 tsp) and salt (to taste).
-Add cornflour (1/2 tbsp) + water (3/4 cup)
-Add honey (1 tsp)
-Let it cook for 1-2 min.
For Serving-
-In a bowl, add the chicken wings and barbeque sauce.
-Cover it and shake it well.
-Ready to Serve.
