My parents and my younger sister surprised me in Kentucky when they showed up at our door!
What a fun opportunity we had this past weekend! My mom and I got to do one of our favorite things together, cooking. It felt almost like old times!
We decided to both make the same thing, chicken wings, but 2 different ways. It was fun to see what the other person picked out for their “style” of chicken wings. Both were delicious…but I have to admit I enjoyed my mom’s better.

My mom used this recipe but changed it slightly when she added an extra sprinkling of Kosher salt and some fresh ground black pepper to the wings before baking.
