Grilled Chicken Shawarma With Kuboos And Pickled Veges | Homemade Easy Recipe | MMK Vlog – 102

This easy, healthy homemade chicken shawarma is a huge fan-favorite recipe all over the world, for good reason! The secret is in the simple shawarma spice mixture, which makes all the difference. My step-by-step tutorial and video show you exactly how to make this delicious chicken! Serve it in Kuboos with Mayonnaise and pickled / Fresh veges and call it dinner !!!


Plain flour / Maida – 2 cups
Warm milk – 1/2 cup
Dry yeast – 1 tspn
Sugar – 1 tspn
Salt – 1/2 tspn or as per required
Water – As per needed

Chicken breast – 1 No (Medium sized sliced )
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tspn
Chilli powder – 1 tspn
Pepper powder – 1/2 tspn
Arabic meat masala / garam masala – 1/2 tspn
White vinegar – 2 tspn
Salt – 1/2 tspn or as per taste
Oil – 1 tblpsn

Cucumber – 1 medium sliced
Carrot – 1 medium sliced
Garlic cloves – 2 nos
Salt – 3 tspn or as per taste
Green chilli – 6 Nos
White vinegar – 1/3 cup
Boiling water – 500 ml

Cabbage – 1 cup chopped
Pickled cucumber – 1/2 cup
Pepper powder – 1/2 tspn
Mayonnaise – 1/2 cup ( 2 tspn in each kuboos )
Sriracha Mayo – optional

METHOD: Watch my cooking video for instruction

*** Make dough bit looser than chapatti dough
*** Use dry yeast instead of active yeast.
*** Keep dough at least for 2 hrs to rest
*** Make sure kuboos is made without oil.
*** Use a sliced onion in skewer to make the shawarma tower.
*** Add any fresh vegetables of your choice.
