How to make Chicken Yakhni Pulao ||Traditional Cooking || Family Cooking

Pulao is a delicious dish made of basmati rice, meat or veggies, spices & herbs. This chicken pulao is super easy to make. It is mildly spiced and not heavy.
Chicken pulao is flavorful, packed with aroma and is so delicious with raita.

Chicken Yakhni Pulao

1 chicken
2 cups rice
4 onions
1 tomato
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coriander powder
1.5 cumin seeds
1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
1 tsp. garam masala
4 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
6 TBSP. oil

Soak basmati rice for 30 mins.
Fry onion until golden brown, add ginger garlic pate, cumin seeds and chicken. Mix and fry for 2-3 minutes .Add cinnamon sticks and cloves, salt, tomatoes, coriander powder. Mix well and add 4 cups water and garam masala.
Bring it to a boil and add rice. Cover and boil until the majority of water is absorbed. Lover the heat cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it stand for 10 mins.
Fork through the rice and serve will raita.
