Boiled then Broiled Chicken Legs
Directions:
1) Add water to a large pot.
2) Add chicken legs, salt, pepper.
3) Bring to a boil and let chicken boil for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.
4) Take off the heat.
5) Tun oven on Broil setting (high).
6) While chicken is boiling, wrap a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup.
7) Take chicken legs out of pot and place onto the baking sheet.
8) Slather BBQ sauce on chicken legs.
9) Place in oven (on top rack) and broil for roughly five minutes. Then take out. Flip legs and slather other side with BBQ sauce and put back into broiler for five more minutes.
10) Watch chicken while in broiling stage to make sure it does not burn!
11) Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 large pack of chicken legs
2 TBSP of Salt
2 TSP Of Pepper
4 quarts of Water
BBQ sauce of choice.
