How to Smoke Chicken Wings on a Gas Grill

Pitmaster Daniel is taking us to school with these delicious smoked chicken wings marinated in a Korean inspired sauce and smoked on a gas grill using a blend of Jack Daniels and Cowboy Mesquite woodchips for a mouthwatering flavor with a bit of heat.

It makes for an incredibly quick recipe, with the smokey flavor you crave from the traditional barbecue with the ease and control of using your gas grill. He rotates out the smoker boxes to keep the smoke fresh as the chicken wings cook to temperature.

INGREDIENTS:
► 6 lbs chicken wings
► Jack Daniel’s Wood Chips
► Cowboy Mesquite Wood Chips
► 1/2 cup Korean red chili pepper paste (Gochujang)
► 1/4 cup brown sugar
► 1/4 cup soy sauce
► 2 tablespoons water
► 1 tablespoon sesame oil
► 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
► 4 cloves garlic, minced
► 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and minced
► 1 teaspoon salt
► 1 teaspoon pepper
