hey guys Jamie here back in the averagekitchen with you give some leftoverchicken just lying around or even betterdo you have leftover chicken from ourprevious recipe check out the video ifyou domark has an idea of what to do with itso let’s check it out let’s go the intro[Music][Music][Music]everybody welcome back another episodewe’re rolling along here if you’reliking the content that you’re seeingsubscribe to us give us a like and hitthat notification belt so you don’t missanything today I could tell you it’sgonna be an awesome episode we’re makingleftover chicken tacos probably one ofmy favorite things to eat so versatileso many flavor combinations so manydifferent things you could do with itwe’re gonna show you how so let’s getstartedfor these tacos I already looked at whatI had in my fridge gonna make use ofsome stuff that I have in there that Idon’t want to waste so you already sawme slice up those shells the reason I dothat is I’m not a big fan of huge bulkytacos I like like a 2 to 3 bite tacodoesn’t give you that bloated fullfeeling so I just trimmed them down makethem perfectly circular they just looksharp so that was the first step thenext step we’re gonna do we’re gonnaprep all of our vegetables because thesetacos come together pretty quickso I’m gonna slice some purple cabbagesome red onion gonna slice up some freshjalapeno some roma tomato and then I’mgonna make an avocado aioli we’re gonnatry our shells we’re gonna warm up ourleftover chicken and we’re gonnaassemble some awesome beautiful lookingtacos so let’s get going[Music]first time saving goes I got luckyI already had some dice up Roma tomatoand add some sliced red onion so I’mgonna take this fresh jalapeno here justwant the top off and I usually like tocut them relatively thin so speed is notreally a factor here is making sure youdon’t cut your fingers off so I think sofar I managed not to cut my fingers offall rightthat’s some sliced jalapeno let’s throwthat into a bowl here gonna cut myself anice chunk of purple cabbage here thenI’m just going to slice that relativelythin and a purple cabbageit’s obviously nice and bright and itgives a real nice crunch to your tacosso I like to use it and it lasts a longtime in your fridge so there so we gotsome nice purple cabbage that we’regonna use just to dress up our tacos alittle bit now that our vegetables areprepped gonna make a quick of akkad Oh aOly kind of a fancy word for a blendedavocado with a little bit of sour creamsometimes aioli is with mayonnaise thisone’s gonna be with sour cream justgives a nice viscosity so we’re gonnablend that up and then we’re gonna warmup our chicken in the toaster ovenwrapped in a little bit of tinfoil I’mnot a big fan of putting meat in themicrowave I’d really find it dries itout so here we go[Music][Music]okay time to build our tacoswe got everything prepped our chickenwas warmed up in the toaster oven didthe charring over our shellsit’s time to build them let’s go supereasy minimal prep reheated chicken alittle bit of cutting a little bit ofcharring of our shells you don’t evenhave to char them if you don’t want toso we got our nice chicken here then weheat it up nothing too crazy like youdon’t want to dry it out but it’s warmso we’re gonna make two different typesof tacos Jamie doesn’t like heat sowe’re gonna do the avocado for him we’regonna do this watch a meal for me solet’s start with sriracha meal sobasically what I like to do is just putthe spoon down and just give it a smeardoesn’t have to be too fancy but let’sstill get at the same time so put itdown give it a smear so we’re gonna dothe same thing with the avocado gonnaput that down we’ll run away on me notquite as good a smear maybe a little bittoo much but that’s alright there we gonow we’re gonna start to add our chickenso because these are two to three bitetacos we don’t need a ton of chicken oneach one but enough that you get a goodbite[Music]there we go now we’re gonna add just acouple pieces of tomato per againnothing too crazy but just enough to saythat you know that there’s tomato onthere there we go well this looks sogood all right jalapeno on minewas like I said Jamie’s not a big fan ofthe heat he likes to bring it but hedoesn’t like to eat it three dollarPinos it’s a good number a little bit ofred onion now if you don’t like rawonion don’t add it I like it again givesa little bit of crunchI find that red onion doesn’t doesn’thave as much potency as other types ofonions and of course they’re colorful sothey look good which is also a nicething and again a little bit of purplecabbage nothing crazy give you somecolor you can get some style points[Music]well there you have it grilled leftoverchicken tacos awesome meal on a veryvery average budget not too much to makethese[Music]and today I could tell you better be anoften I shouldn’t start that over againin my fridge that I want to use up all Ihave out sounded frigid clean out it’sthe best way to say that yeahand for these tacos[Music][Applause]
