Vegan BBQ Chicken Pizza – Easy Vegan Recipes – How to Make Vegan Pizza

I am sharing my “recipe” for vegan bbq chicken pizza, which you saw me eat in my last What I Eat in a Day video. This is one of many easy vegan recipes and if you were ever wondering how to make vegan pizza, then look no further! BBQ chicken pizza is one of my favorites and the vegan chicken substitute I mention in the video is incredible! Vegan pizza at home is super simple so I hope you enjoy!

Home Made Vegan Pizza Dough:
-1 cup warm water
-1 packet dry active yeast
-1 tbsp granulated sugar
-1 tbsp sea salt
-2 tbsp olive oil
-Start with 3 cups of all purpose flour (add more if the dough is too wet or sticky)

Combine warm water, yeast, and sugar and let sit for 5 mins while the yeast activates. You can also use instant yeast and just combine all of the ingredients and knead.

Otherwise, pour the other ingredients into a mixing bowl, then add the water mixture and you can knead by hand or use a stand mixer with the dough attachment. I used a stand mixer and once the dough comes together, I let it knead for about 5-7 minutes until the dough forms around the dough hook and is tacky but not too sticky.

Let the dough rise until it doubles in volume at room temperature. You can also refrigerate the dough and do a cold, slow rise overnight. I suggest coating the bowl and dough in a bit of olive oil so it does not dry out or form a skin.
