HOW TO MAKE BUFFALO RIBS
______________________________________________________________

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:
– 1 Rack of Baby Back Ribs

BBQ RUB:
– 2 tbs Brown sugar
– 2 tbs White sugar
– 2 tbs Paprika
– 1tbs Kosher Salt
– 1/2 tbs black pepper
– 1/2 tbs garlic powder
– 1/2 tbs onion powder
-1/2 tbs chili powder
-1/2 tbs cayenne pepper

BUFFALO SAUCE:
– 1/3 cup butter
– 1 cup Franks Hot Sauce
– 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
– Chili Pepper Flakes

METHOD:

Step #1
To begin you will need to cut down your Back ribs into single individual rib portions. Next mix together your bbq rub (see above recipe) and apply it to all the sides of your ribs. This is going to help provide great flavour with every bite! With this done set up your grill between 250-275 degrees..

Step #2
With your grill up to temperature, place the ribs opposite the coals and place on some hickory or hardwood of your choice. Close the lid and begin cooking and smoking your ribs for around 2hrs 45 minutes until they have reached your desired tenderness.

Step #3
While the ribs are smoking, its time to make up your Buffalo Sauce. In a saucepan mix together your butter, franks hot sauce, cayenne, and chili flakes. Bring it up to a low simmer for a couple minutes before removing from the heat and cooling to room temperature.

Step #4
At around the 2hr 45 minute mark, your ribs should be getting close to done so apply your buffalo sauce to all sides of the ribs. With your ribs sauced, close the lid and continue cooking for another 15 minutes. After another 15 minutes (or when tender) pull them off the grill and serve.

That’s it, enjoy.
