How to make Char Siu Pork

Making Char Siu bbq pork at home is a lot easy then you may think. Following this simple recipe you too can make this juicy Chinese dish at home. Ingredients and helpful tips listed below

Pork shoulder 1 kg, cut into four equal parts
Marinade
Dark soya sauce 3TBSP
Red Fermented beef bean curd 3 cubes plus 1 Tsp water
Hoisin sauce 3 TBSP
Oyster sauce 1 1/2 TBSP
Dark brown sugar 3 TBSP
Rice wine 2 TBSP
Chinese five spice 1 tsp
Garlic grated 1 cloves
Sesame oil 1/2 tsp
White pepper 1/2 tsp

Glaze
Marinade 3 TBSP
Honey 3 TBSP
Red fermented bean 3 TBSP

Helpful tips
* Marinate pork at least for one whole day to get the best flavour
* When pork is done, make sure to check the core temperature of the pork is 75 c ( 160 f ) to ensure pork is fully cooked
