Filipinos have quite an affair with grilled food or inihaw. An easy marinade that is mostly available in out pantry. Marinades have various versions, you may experiment according to your preference. Ideally, it should have a balance of sweetness, saltiness and tanginess.
Inihaw is best enjoyed with dipping sauces, such as spiced vinegar or toyomansi (soy sauce + kalamansi/lemon).
Remember, it is always better to prepare a day ahead so the meat can be marinated preferably overnight.
