OUR CROWD PLEASING JERK STICKY BBQ PORK RIBS SERVED WITH CREAMY VEGGIE POTATO MASH

I’m delighted to share with you this sticky jerk barbecue pork ribs, a favorite at festivals and events and amongst friends and families at our social gatherings.

Ingredients:
1kg Pork ribs
2 tbsp Jerk season
1/4 tbsp Salt

Season pork with jerk seasoning and salt and leave to marinate for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight in refrigerator or a cool place. Steam ribs in a pot over flames for roughly 10-15 minutes just to get the blood running from the bones and meat ( keep the juice to make the sticky BBQ sauce). Once that’s done place the ribs on a charcoal grill and jerk the ribs for roughly 5-10 minutes.

Making the sticky BBQ sauce:
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Ketchup
3-4 tbsp Soy sauce
1/4 cup Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Jerk season
Add those ingredients to the juices that was left from steaming the ribs and bring to boil over medium heat until liquid starts becoming creamy and sticky

Use the sticky sauce to dress the ribs and place in oven for 10-15 minutes. Brushing the sticky sauce on both sides of ribs during the time in the oven
