Pork Barbeque Skewers | Filipino style Pork Barbeque Skewers

Filipino Pork Barbeque is one of the famous street food in the Philippines. Easy to prepare and grill, normally grilled in wood charcoal and serve while still hot and dipped in a vinegar dip.

This recipe is easy to prepare and cook as shown in the video. You can find the ingredients listed below in your local supermarket.

Ingredients
700g pork shoulder – sliced into thin pieces
300g pork fat – sliced into thin pieces

Marinade ingredients
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup white soda – sprite
1 cup banana ketchup
1/2 cup juice extracted from
lemon or calamansi
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp ground black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup garlic – finely chopped
2 pcs medium onion

Note:
For better taste marinate the pork overnight. Marinade can be use as basting sauce, but be sure to cook it and bring into boil first. Soak the bamboo sticks (skewers) in the water for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour this will prevents the sticks in burning while grilling your barbeque.
