But do not be intimidated… This video covers step-by-step on how to make a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork. The process takes 10 minutes to prepare, 30 minutes for the pork to marinate, 20 minutes for cooking, and 5 minutes to assemble the bowl. INGREDIENTS (5 servings)
– 1.5 pounds of pork butt or shoulder
– 3 servings for rice vermicelli noodles
– Batavia lettuce
– cucumber
– a small bunch of cilantro
– nuoc mam sauce
– 1/2 tbsp of granulated garlic
– 1/2 tbsp of granulated onion
– a dash of ground black pepper
– 1/2 tbsp of natural mushroom seasoning
– 1 tsp of sugar
– 1 tbsp of soy sauce
– 1 tbsp of oyster sauce
– 1 tbsp of raw honey
– 2 tbsp of lemongrass
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS (customize your bowl to your liking)
– green mint
– roasted peanuts
– green onions
– egg roll
– bean sprouts
