BAKED WINGS | SWEET BABY RAY’S BBQ SAUCE |SimplySahm

Get some foodspiration before you watch your next football game !

With football season in full effect , I have come to terms that I will be eating a lot of wings . . So today I’m sharing an oven baked wing recipe that will switch your palette up if you’ve been eating fried wings or boneless like me !

The best part of this recipe is you can alter your wings to suite your tastebuds by using different seasonings , wing selections , or sides . If you have a couple hours to spare during game day , you can definitely whip up this recipe :

• Chicken Wings (I used whole wings — You can split them or buy the wings sectioned . Patting them dry helps keep them juicy on the inside.)

• Seasonings (I used Tony’s seasoning salt , black pepper , paprika & garlic powder . Also mix in baking powder to add a crisp to the skin , but don’t add too much or you will get a powdery taste.)

• Sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray’s buffalo & barbecue . Add the sauce after 1 hour of cooking then cook additional 20-30 minutes ; the meat will fall of the bones ! You can also toss wings in a bowl of sauce after wings are cooked thoroughly to avoid burning sauce on pan.)

• Sides of choice (To keep this meal finger food friendly I used the Alexia potato wedges . Cook these on the top rack after you’ve added the sauce to your wings & they will be done at the same time . To top off this spread , I made a football shaped veggie platter — for the middle lace part you need to find super tiny carrots to fit under the arch of the celery.)

I hope you enjoyed this meal idea ; Like , comment , share , & subscribe ❣︎
