BBQ SEITAN PIZZA!! | BBQ Sauce from scratch | Part 2 of BBQ Seitan Pizza Series

Ingrediants:

Ball of seitan
Salt
Chipotle Flakes
150 g Tomato Paste
Teaspoon Miso
5 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
10 Tablespoons vinegar
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil for sauce + 2 more for seitan frying
½ onion
2 cloves garlic
2 chilies
2 mugs water/seitan water

Directions:

Simmer seitan in salt and chipotle for 30 minutes
Pan fry until golden brown

Fry onions, garlic, chilies in coconut oil in pot for 2 minutes
Add rest of ingrediants
Reduce to half

Combine a few ladels of sauce with seitan
Cook for 5 minutes or until desired char level

Assemble pizza
Bake 250 C for 10 minutes
Drizzle Cashew Sour Cream on top

hi everyone welcome back to the two-partseries about barbecue seitan pizza inthe first video we made the pumpkinpizza in this video we’re gonna bemaking the BBQ seitan and putting somestuff on it and it’ll be goodfirst of all I just wanted to say thankyou to anyone that clicked the subscribebutton it really does go a long way sothank you so this is a ball of seitanthat I made earlier click on the linksomewhere about how I made it and we’rejust going to go ahead and boil it okayso we have a pot we have a pot of waterthat we’re just gonna add some salt someChipotle flakes and normally I would addtomato paste but I couldn’t find any inthe grocery stores so this is finesimmer it for 30 minutes ok so afterabout 30 to 40 minutes of simmering ourseitan is readyand we’re gonna save this liquid we’rejust gonna cut it upso we’re going to start to make ourbarbecue sauce we’re going to chop halfan onion over garlic that’s mega to goto Chili’s and we’ll move that to theside for nownext in a bowl add a whole tube oftomato puree this one is a hundred andfifty grams so if you have canned tomatopaste that’s totally cool too next anytype of vinegar you haveso I have ten tablespoons of vinegartablespoon tomato soup and I’m gonna usesome miso even your salt if you want I’mjust gonna add miso for the extra kickbut a teaspoon of me so we’ll set thisaside then we’ll get cooking let’s turnoff pot on to about a medium high heat 2tablespoons of coconut oil bring backour onion and garlic mixture and chiliesso after about a couple minutes we’ll goahead and add our mixtureokay so we’ll just add about two mugfull of our seitan water if you don’thave the seitan water that you boiled itin just go ahead and use regular waterthat’s totally coolalso I forgot to add some Chipotle’slike some more triple it but you’ll justgive it a nice smokiness to it you canalso add smoked paprika but it wasn’tavailable today so that’s alright soit’s reduced to about a little more thanhalf and I’m pretty happy with itso now we can use this to make thebarbecue set on though so I’m just goingto switch sides move this here and putour pan on two tablespoons of coconutoil so it is a d’Orsay town that we cutup beforeso the sit-down had developed some colorto it now I’m just gonna take some otherbarbecue sauce and a little for gonnacook it and tell it that to becomealmost tired take a little bit charredand almost like it burnt but not veryservices that will give us kind of abarbecuey effect I’m happy with thatdance fit onto a ball and get ready okayso we have a baking pan we lined it withparchment paper and let’s just go aheadand take our dough it’s so fluffy itfeels nice okay so we’re just going totake it and um I don’t care much aboutthe shape of the dough so I’m just goingto press it flat with my fingers if youwant you can use a rolling pin orsomething to flatten it not about thatso I’m just gonna use go ahead and usemy fingers here so there we go okay sothat’s little a sauce this is a barbecuesauce that we made earlier I like itactually quite saucy next we can add ourtoppings up barbecue say thyme and somered bell pepper and just some greenonions we’re gonna put this in the ovennow at 250 degrees Celsius for about 10minutes and here it isI didn’t have any cheese to it but whatI am gonna add is some of the cashewsour cream the vegan sour cream that Imade you can check the video link aboveor the description below and I don’thave a squeeze bottle so I just put itin this ziplock bag and hopefully itwill have the same effect[Applause]good so there it ishi everyone so we’re done and let’s justcut it up and have a taste[Music][Applause]definitely try this one out as you cansee the dough is it’s just beautifulthis is just greatthe seitan on top is is perfecteverything is just great the the dogswill be nice the sour cream on top is anice contrast this is myself I’ve beenlike pop I hope you guys enjoyed thispart we can say time Pizza it’s reallyeasy to makeno correction it’s not easy to makethere are several steps involved but itis worthwhile to make if you’re makingit for someone you care about then wheredoes it mattermake it so yeah so that’s it I’ll seeyou next time namaste bye guys[Music]
