Grilled Cheese Sammie & Smoked Turkey Legs

I can’t wait to try out the food we’reworking on in the kitchen today but alsocan’t wait to share the story of what’sgoing on with you all as well Chelseayeah that’s right Joe we’ve got have weseen these concessions in the kitchenthis morning with laquetta and Sammy nowwe are so excited you’re here today whatare we making this morning well thismorning we’re gonna be making somedelicious grilled cheese sandwich hahaand we’re gonna have a smoked turkey legoh we camped on Sammy cowboy Sammyconcession sauce special sauce made bycowboy Sammy all right we’re lookingforward to that this is cowboy Sammy nowI want to talk about this is a brand-newfood truck I want to talk about yourstory because your story doesn’t looklike a lot of ours yeah well that’sthat’s right first of all I’m visuallyimpaired I had a vision buy my own foodtrailer when I had my sight and I wentto school in gentry in Talladega Alabamaand and when I was home on on one of myleave I decided to read a book offer acassette player and I heard about adoctor that was blind and when I readthe story about the the doctor that wasblindwell the way I read is I listen tocassette tapeI don’t read I don’t have no vision inthis sight and I barely have vision inthis side and basically when I read thestory it motivated me to start my ownconcession trailer I had bought atrailer and I let it sit by 10 years andit was just a shell and I had thatvision after I got motivated bylistening to good motivator speakers Ilisten to books about motivation andwent to school and saw blind peopledoing anything that a normal person cando except drive but you know were theyworking on technology like driving rightso I noted a to me and I said well youknow with god help I can build my owntrailer so I started from scratch andbuilding a cassettetraitor Wow and it looks beautiful y’allnow you’re debuting it this weekhopefully rightyes I’m debuting it today this week itwill for the mighty gross special atthis fright this Fridaysix hundred government streets all rightbetween McDonald and the Social Securityofficeit’s called dirtier okay so keep that inmind if you’re hungry before after theparade we want to go ahead and actually havea restaurant within a brew pub so havethis little area off to the side wherethey have some great food trucks and allof that and that’s where you can findcowboy Sammy’s coming up starting thisFriday correct yes yeah they’ll be outthere that is very red honeySammy you put that sandwich together myman yeah yeah we just putting ittogether the way we like to do it andmiss Queen is gonna put it on there andI’m gonna turn it over all right thatsounds good so I’ll write that thing onthe grill so we can heat that up here injust a bit we also want to mention ifyou want to help out cowboy looking forwardto that so I asked you earlier kind ofwhere you got your inspiration for yourmenu you said you wanted something thatyou know other food trucks or otherconcession stands didn’t have yes yesthat’s correct you know you don’t see alot of my turkey legs and grilled cheesesandwich so I just came up with theideas you know having our turkey legsand then I went into the kitchen thestore making my Sammie sauce that goalong with the turkey leg oh all rightso let’s go ahead and open this up andsee what it looks like if that’s allright with younow you advise folks to eat the turkeylegs with the same sauce yes yes I wouldalso have our hot sauce with it you caneither with hot sauce or the salmon sosmall containers up here somewhere yesthey are right up here with your Sammysauce yeah and so what I do I give you abig turkey leg you got a lot of proteinyou know give you a big turkey leg withthe salmon sauce and I mean this willfeel Europe I know that’s a meal initself oh yeah yeah it’s like a wholemeal and it looks delicious out now yousmoke these no I I cook them and Ireally put them on a bacteria I got abig grill seven feet long I probably canlay down on it and put my 40 turkey legsat one time Wow I just smoked them andcook them and in Aalto you know somepeople like sauce and some people don’tlike sauce right so that’s why I put itin a little small cook the salmon sauceoh it sounds so good nothing beats a hotturkey leg on a cold day when you’restanding outside maybe waiting on aparade to start your all season so keepthat in mind we want to talk about whereyou’ll be this Friday on governmentStreet right there by syrtis breweryright yes yes yes you know 600government Street and do you know aboutwhat time you’ll be there well you knowwe’ll have the trailermy plans are to have the trailer downnow Thursday just to set up and so whenthe parade started we just want to be afew hours before the parade uh-huhwhat do people can get some good turkeyname me and I will be trying tolike with managing every tire so yeah weare like I said I did start my truckfrom ground up I got the all equipmenteverything that I need to function underthe Health Department and they got theinspected before the my to grow soeverything is help help Departmentstander and we got some of the finestcooking mobile oh I believe it and afunny story behind you at church everySunday yeah I could to see mr.
