Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce is a very tangy mustard based sauce. It originated in the Germanic Communities of South Carolina and is meant to compliment pork dishes. It gets its strong, tangy flavor from yellow mustard, ample vinegar and Worcestershire sauce tempered with a bit of brown sugar and tomato paste.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups Yellow Mustard
1/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
6 oz Tomato Paste
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
