BBQ Sauces in the UK have one profile, excessively sweet, one dimensional and gelatinous, but BBQ Sauces in the U.S are as varied as there are stars in the sky, watery vinegary types, to thick sweet and sticky types, some that aren’t even brown, sweet or sticky.
This however, is a version of what we are used to here in the UK, with more depth and character, and a little spice, more than what we are used to here or get from McDonalds or from a Heinz bottle.
I think it’s great, but once you have the basics, you can really tailor this to suit your tastes!
