I’m Emily C Bundren and tonight I’mgoing to be doing some meal prep I amgoing to make some meatballs withbarbecue sauce this recipe is supertasty it doesn’t take long and onlyrequires a few ingredients theingredients you’re going to need arefour pounds of grass-fed ground beef twofree-range eggs one medium onion choppedthree cloves of garlic minced some seasaltI like Redman real salt because it’sunrefined and last but not least primalKitchen barbecue sauce I love this brandbecause they don’t have any hydrogenatedoils or added sugar I forgot to mentionyou’re going to need some kind of fat tocook the onions and garlic inI have tallow here whoop which is beeffat that I rendered from the beef bonesthat I made for my bone brothremember do not use any kind ofvegetable oils use lard avocado oilcoconut oil or even ghee tallow works toget the pan preheated you want it on lowheatask the onion and garlic I don’t careabout browning that’s why we have it onlow heat and I don’t want my garlic toburn stir that up we just want to getthe onion sauce while the onions arecooking we’re gonna start making themeat mixture we’re gonna crack two eggsI usually like cracking the eggs in abowl in case any shells fall out you caneasily take it outI’m going to place it in the bowl ofmeat we’re going to add about twoteaspoons of salt I know that soundslike a lot but we really want to getthat meat flavored then we’re gonna useour hands to mix it up the meat is coldon my hands the onions got soft if youdon’t have onions or garlic you can usegarlic powder and onion powder that’sfine onions might be a little hot so youmight want to let it cool down I’mhungry so I’m just going for it I wantto get this doneit’s dinner time here in the Stephenwrong houseI have a pan with some tallow in italready it was from the bones that Iroasted earlier for the bone broth soI’m gonna just be using this pan youdon’t have that you can also just lineit with some parchment paper let’s get aroll in so you want to roll themeatballs not too small because I meanthis is four pounds of beef and if youmake a little ball it’s just gonna takeforever to make so about an inch and ahalf the first time I had meatballs waswhen I was in the Air Force I worked inthe dining facility as a cook and one ofthe items on the menu that came up everyweek that we had to make was Swedishmeatballs and I learned how to make itand ate it and I loved it I’ve tried alot of things for the first time when Iwas in the Air Force surprisingly it wasthe first time I had Meat Loaf meatballsfried okra fried catfish I was stationedin Oklahoma so that’s why we had a lotof southern dishes[Music][Applause][Music][Applause][Music][Applause]I was able to fit all the meatballs onone pan it’s okay if they’re closedthey’re not gonna stick together likecookies do poured some barbecue sauce ina bowl because I’m going to be bastingit for some flavor right on top thesearen’t the most perfect balls but that’sokayyou’re gonna eat them anyways now whatyou want to do next is let it get to thesides and you’re going to kind of rub itso it falls over to the whole surfacedon’t worry about not getting the otherside because you will have some barbecuesauce on the side to dip it in now we’regonna pop it in the oventhe ovens at 350 and I’m gonna pop thesebabies in for about 15 minutes I like mymeatballs a little pink inside if youlike yours well-done you probably wantto leave it in for a little bit longerbut in 15 minutes I’m gonna come backand check in on it it’s been 15 minutesI’m gonna have a look at the meatballsthey’re still quite raw because I madethe meatballs pretty big I’m gonna leaveit in for another 10 minutes we’ll checkback again so the meatballs are finishedthey took about 25 minutes total to geta little pink inside we’re gonna get totasting and I have my special guest Andycome on down to have a taste with me ohwow we got going today we’ve got somemeatballs with Bobby Q sauce mm-hmmsmells fantastic go for it all righthmm as a strict carnivore I would sayyou could probably ease up on the saucehowever if you’re more of a hybridcarnivore and you have a smallpercentage of your food beingplant-based then why not I mean even asa carnivore food gets boring and thatdefinitely makes it less boring ketofriendly paleo friendly and hybridcarnivore friendly I’ve got myTupperware over here I love using thesePyrex ‘as I like glass because greasedoesn’t really stick on to it versus ifyou were to use plastic Tupperware allyou do is just line them up just like soand they’re just gonna be easy to seethrough because they’re clear so youknow what’s in it and you know that yougot to eat and you won’t forget it thereyou go we got six meatballs in therethese meatballs are so flavorful youreally get the taste of the onion andthe garlic and a little bit of thesweetness and the barbecue sauce sothere you have it it’s an be approved Ireally hope you enjoy this super easysuper quick limited ingredient recipefor meatballs of barbecue sauce I’ll seeyou guys later
