I love this Char Broil Big Easy Smoker Roaster Grill! With its 3 in 1 combination, you can easily smoke your favorite cuts of meat or vegetables, roast various types of meats, or you can use it as a grill too!
If you love fried turkey as much as I do, you will be impressed with this! The Char Broil Big Easy turkey fryer does not use oil! That’s right…it’s oil-less! So, there are no buying gallons of oil. No oily clean-up. And, most of all, no chance of getting burned or catching something on fire!
All that is needed to have a great smoked turkey or whatever your cooking, is to prepare it as you normally would. Inject the turkey with your favorite injections. Brine the turkey if you choose. Add your favorite rub or your very own special blend.
Wood chips or pellets can be added for the best flavored smoked turkey you’ve ever had! All you need to do is place your meat thermometer probes (https://amzn.to/3gAHKsd) into the thickest part of the turkey breast and the other probe inside the smoker to monitor the ambient temperature.
Allow approximately 10-15 minutes per pound for turkey. Internal temperature should reach 165 degrees to be safe. (https://www.fsis.usda.gov/Fact_Sheets/Lets_Talk_Turkey/index.asp#:~:text=A%20whole%20turkey%20is%20safe,thickest%20part%20of%20the%20breast.)
Once your thermometer reaches the desired temperature, remove the turkey from the smoker. You may want to wrap it in aluminum foil and let it sit and rest for about 10-15 minutes before removing it and slicing it.
