Our first grilled dinner at dome rock mountain, AZ I decided to make our favorite, turkey burgers with grilled sweet potato slices. This time we ate them on gluten free everything bagels which adds a great variance in flavor compared to regular burger buns.

1lb ground turkey
1/2c gluten free Italian bread crumbs
1/4c chopped onion
1T chopped garlic
1 whole egg
1T chopped fresh rosemary
Salt and pepper to taste
3 sliced at a bias sweet potatoes
4 gluten free bagels ( I like the everything bagels the most)
Get your fire going nice and hot then add your turkey,bread crumbs, onion, garlic, egg and rosemary into a bowl to mix then form them into equal 8oz patties. Put the burgers and sweet potato slices on the grill away from the direct flames if possible but still at a high heat for optimal charring on the outside. Cook the burgers until they reach an internal temp of 180 about 3 minutes on each side depending on how hot your fire is and the sweet potatoes until they have crisped on the outside to your liking.
