Smoked Turkey Breast Pit Boss Pro Series 4 vertical pellet smoker
1-8lb Turkey Breast ( I used a bone-in turkey breast but you can use boneless too ).
Seasoning used: Adkins Chicken and Pork rub (but, you can use what you want).
Buttery injection: which consists of 1 stick of butter, 1 cup of water, 1tsp black pepper, 1Tbls garlic salt or powder, 1Tbls of onion salt, or powder. Heat on stove until all is dissolved.
Inject the buttery injection into the turkey breast several places.
I set my Pit Boss Pro series 4 vertical pellet smoker, to 300° and I make sure there is plenty of water in the water/drip pan below. We cooked the turkey until we reached an internal temperature of 165°. We pulled the turkey off and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
