hey my cookies today I am about to sticksomething to your bones with thesouthern style smothered turkey Wang’sthey’re not wings these are Wang’s okayhey let’s cook underneath some turkeywings I have six large cut wings theydon’t have any wing tips on them ifyours does that’s absolutely fine I justpurchased mine this way and I’ve alreadyrinsed them and Pat them dry well so nowwe need to mix up our spice blend grab asmall bowl and first I’m adding in mypoultry seasoning I’m using chef Pauljust poultry magic I love it just useyour favorite to that I’m going to addin some onion powder and garlic powdersome paprika and then celery salt Imixed it together well tasted it andrealized I needed more salt so I’m gonnaadd in some Creole seasoning or a Cajunseasoning mix that together well andwe’re gonna sprinkle it all over ourturkey wings and make sure we mix it inreally well so that it’s evenly coatedwhen that’s done we’re gonna spray ourroasting pan with nonstick cooking sprayand add your wings in give them a littlespace and see that we’re gonna top itwith onion some slices of onion and bellpepper then we can go ahead and add insome butter all over I’ll just slice itthinly not everything just looking allgood we’re gonna wrap it tightly withsome foil if your roasting pan comeswith a lid use that you can also use aDutch oven then bake on 350 for one hourand 15 minutes after baking for an hourand 15 minutes take the pan out uncoverit and you’ll see that the wings haverendered pan drippings that’s what we’regonna use for our gravy so just drainall of the drippings off of your wingsand place the wings back into the ovenuncovered while we make the gravy okayso no foil this time just place themback into the oven here are the pandrippings I’ve poured it into ameasuring cup just so you can see thedifference now it will work a lot easierif you had a fat separator cutbut you can do it just the same with aspoon you just have to be careful andskim off the top right there is the factthat’s what we’re gonna use for thegravy the rest of it is just thedrippings the flavor and the juiceswe’re also gonna use that but first weneed to remove the fat aside from therest of the juices how do we do thatjust take the spoon and carefully skimthe top you don’t have to be all extracareful guys just spoon 1/2 cup of thisfat off the top of the drippings allright now we’re gonna pour our fat andsit with no fat with the turkey wing fatinto a saucepan and heat it up onmedium-high heatthen whisk in our all-purpose flour andwe’re gonna continue to whisk for about2 to 3 minutes to cook out that flourytaste I know it has a weird lookingcolor now that’s because my lighting wasjacked up I’ll fix it in a minute butI’ll just continue to whisk to cook outthat flour taste now we want to pour insome chicken stock or chicken broth andbring it up to a simmer it’s gonnathicken almost immediately and look likethisyay for the color correction so now thatwe have this beautiful gravy and we’regonna add in the remaining pan drippingsjust pour that in there give it a tasteif you need to add salt and pepper youcan I only added a little more onion andgarlic powder but it’s all up to yourtaste baby remove it from the heat okaynow take the turkey wings out and flipthem over as you can see we have thatnice crispy skin going on and while Iwas flipping look at this one it startedto fall apart this meat is so tenderalready click God all right so now I’lljust pour all of that gravy on top nowmy gravy has a nice little thickness toitalready but once we bake it which we’reabout to do right now it’s gonna geteven thicker so now we are look at thatlet’s just take a moment a quick lookmmm god is goodall right now cover it back up and we’regonna place it back in the oven 350 foranother 30 to 40 minutes and thencookiesmmm-hmm nothing but the blood of cheetahthe recipe link will be down there inthe description box be sure to give yourgirl a thumbs up if you enjoyed thistutorial pretty please I appreciate itlet me know what you think in thecomment section and guys look how itsinto this little media y’all with aspoon with a spoon okay alright I had toserve this with some candy and somegreens and some corn bread all of whichI have the recipes down there I’ll linkit in the description box again I alsoserve this over some rice and this gravywas just sitting on top of it you knowcome on now alright cookies I gotta eatuntil next time again thank you so muchfor watching be blessed
