Contestants:
The season features 20 chefs, each representing a different U.S. state. The contestants were selected from a pool of 50 semifinalists. The teams are divided by gender: the Red Team (female contestants) and the Blue Team (male contestants). Notable contestants include:

Theme:
The season’s theme, “Battle of the States”, emphasizes the chefs’ personal stories and state pride over their cooking styles. Each chef was tasked with creating a signature dish within 45 minutes to represent their state. The dishes were scored by Gordon Ramsay, with four chefs receiving perfect scores. Lisa Rivera’s Mofongo dish earned the title of best overall, winning the red team a yacht outing.
Judges:
Gordon Ramsay returns as the head judge, with James Avery overseeing the Blue Team and Michelle Tribble leading the Red Team.
