Grilling Beef ribs with smoker box

The ribs turned out great but ideally did not cook low and slow. This is the fault of having lump charcoal. Hope you all enjoy

okay guys tonight we have some beef ribsI’m doing on the grill and today I’mdoing something new which I have nevercooked with before I haven’t done woodchips in a long time but I’ve nevercooked with whiskey barrel smoking chipsfrom Jack Daniels so I got a future Igot a bunch chips in here soaking letthem soak up a bit so trying to get atall I want to get a slower burnI want these ribs to cook nice and slowfor a long time and hopefully and getthe results I want so said it’s gonnastart these chips there we go No so I’mshowing right now so I’ll see you guys abit later okay guys so sign the seasonthe ribs and what I did the day toseason them with is simply dog powdersmoked paprika it’s Abbas has smokedSpanish paprika but we just we sailed itwith so smoked pepper so Tom we boughtand steak seasoning so I’m gonna do thesteak seasoning first a little spit hereput it in and you want to get a much ason on all sides you can now put somepowder on good get some on the side asyou can get all the sides then somesmoked paprikanow don’t douse this just put a lid onwe like a lot of pepperRico we are very Hungarian Russianwe love pepper Rica but on this phonejust put a bunch on how this would be aproblem yeah love pepper look at thatI just beautiful Oh flip it over I justdid now do the next side on the sides isit there there it’ll wash my handsall right powder here we had up too muchthere but it’ll be alrightI’m not using a barbecue sauce knifethis is simply just gonna be do it thisway I’m going to give it a nice I’mhoping to give a nice a layer I kickthem off andthe paprika is really good that’s readyjust give me a second look I’m gonna getsomething to put this onfirst the play that I always use cabbagesolar I take the barn we’re gonna haveto cut that there so all right cuttingit this way perfect get one rib herethat wayjust be used at work it’s okay there’sno such thing as pepper iike abuse inour house down there nowit’s ready these are little short ribsthese won’t take too long at all you cando just want to do this way well I’mover this get some of the seasoningalready on them no need to season themthat much butall right these little short ribs aredone and all right fire now Igot to put some more charcoal in thereis a big huge piece of charcoal righthere save that for the inside somereally big pieces in here yeah hey Imean I don’t mind using some big pieceslongest one you know they’re really bigI like having a lot of little pieces butthe big pieces help give you a reallygood burn so I’m just on this hot I willhave a few big pieces in theregood I thinkperfect lighterfeel it already Oh checking yep yeah Ican see it way good now I’m working withthe new tripod today and my brotherorders for me it’s much better than theone I was using with all pork ribsbecause it’s not wobbly other oneswobbly you hey wow you want to set upthe grillso Sienna fits okay perfect pieces ofthe big turtle going and I hear mysmoker box do the same thing I didbefore with the portraits I’m putting onthe torque or anything come on Fernandoso honestly you can see a smoker boxthis is my first time using it so Iain’t putting much in there that didlast time that’s about good hey when I’mwrong rule when I’m grilling well thisis actually my number two my number ofrules make sure if you clean your outthat you use itI usually way today then there’s easierfor it stillplenty hot so hoping I’m hoping for alittle cook especially well I’m hopefulactually hoping if it does rain itstarts raining I’ll just go ahead andtake them off you know whatyeahclose it off man doneand I was really wanting to slow cookbut with stealing with lump charcoal Ididn’t think I was gonna get a slow cookso what I did the Jack Daniels woodchips in the smoker box my hope was toget a slow cook me just put the tribeback down so you can see how these ribsare done they look really good nowthat’s all have to do is ten foil ityeah nothing else right so baby yetcrying shame
