Authentic Korean Barbeque Beef Short Ribs or GALBI

It’s not your usual barbeque on a stick / skewer. “Galbi” or “Kalbi” is the Korean word for “rib”. This dish is usually made with beef short ribs. Traditionally galbi is cooked over wood charcoal but it can also be cooked by grill, oven or a regular frying pan. Serve hot with sesame oil, salt, and Ssamjang (Korean spicy dipping sauce) on the side. Wrap in lettuce or eat with hot white rice. Don’t forget the kimchi!?
