good morning everybody I am the proudowner of a new Weber smoke fire the sixand I am doing a test run doing abrisket I haven’t seen many brisketvideos for the new smoke fire I’ve seenthat there’s been a few problems withsome cooks well I’m gonna do a real testand do a low and slow because that’swhat I particularly do anywayso we got a pack of brisket here trimmedit down I’m sure all of you already knowhow to do that injected it and rubbed itdown the injection I used was the Kosmossmokehouse blend and the chupacabrabrisket magic first time using both ofthose products so I’ll also let you guysknow what I think about those good sizedbrisket trimmed down good-sized flat I’mgonna let this sit in the fridge for awhile break out the smoke fire and wewill see how it turns out so this is theoriginal prime set it to 600[Music]see the fan cutting on on on and off andseems like a wired everything in theback as I’m supposed to and once we seesmokeI’ll close the lid and we’ll prime thisthing for about an hour I like to go alittle bit over from what they recommendjust cuz you know that’s that’s my styleI want to make sure everything’s killedoff in there whatever it may be I don’tknow I’m not a scientist or a chemistbut I want to make sure everything’sgone in there definitely kicking on andworking on fans not as loud as people incomments we’re suggesting was throughvideos it’s really not that loud I guessit’s just how videos are recorded Iguess it’s just as loud as a triggermaybe a touch louder but not notmeasurable really I wouldn’t be worriedabout the sound of the smoker it’s notthat loudI hear the pellets falling so it’sfeeding the reservoirhopefully I did it right find out againsolid build excuse the video but it’sraining today but I was not gonna letrain stop me from a testing this thingout I smell smoke so that’s a good goodsign it fits at the the big bag easilycould even fit a little bit more but Idon’t want to overfill it close thatbecause I don’t want to get my pelletswet I am cooking in protection by theway smelling smoke I don’t see smokesmells good though I’ll tell you thatthere is a smoke we have smoke ladiesand gentlemenso I successfully did that alright it’ssmoking I’m gonna let this prime for anhour and yeah alright so you also spentabout 10 minutes maybe a 12 I don’t knowstarting to smell the chemicals burningoff which is goodsmoke smelt good at first but now you’restarting to smell the chemicals burn offstarting to climb pretty rapidly nowonce it got to about slow getting toabout 200 but right about now let’sclimb and pretty quickly so it seemslike it might be like a 15-minutewarm-up or so 20 tops to 600 degrees butI’ll call it 15 because it’s it’s risingrapidly and it’s definitely hot I can’tkeep my hand at the vents for more thanthree seconds so it’s definitely not 400so seems to be working wellso far I’m happy cooking the brisketwill be the true testso I did the initial burn off set mysmoker rubber smoke fire to 250 droppedin temperature it’s getting there it’ssafe to put on the brisket I set up thecook through the app the connect app Iwant to see how well this works youcould also connect to via Wi-Fi so I’mgoing to test that out as wellright now it’s connected throughbluetooth smart space it’s about a 13pound brisket so up get a little baldspot I’ll need a patch right there thatI hit with the top great that’s what Iget for trying to do it one-handed andrecording so don’t mind that there’splenty of room to do it probably fit forone or two three briskets on here andthen ribs or veggies and potatoes acrossthe top but not today today’s just asingular brisket we’ll see how well itcooked low and slow I got to pass thatupso let’s smoking this brisket for a fewhours up to 114 internally 250 is thegrill temperature let’s take a peeknow looking bad at all liking what I’mseeing as a steady smoke goingplenty of pellets left to finish thecook hopefully I did put in the 20 poundbag but soon so far so good I can’treally knock anything besides the appthe apps not really interactive it’sjust meant for you to be able to seewhat your probe is at and what thetemperature of your smoker is that youcan’t really do anything else besidesthat but which is helpful I could justyou know lay in bed and watch thetemperature of the probe so so far sogoodI really can’t say anything so the probethat it came with says that the internaltemperature of the brisket is reading atabout 1:45 so I want to double checkthat with my instant-read thermometertry to place it in the same general areaone forty couple degrees off so that’skind of comforting I’m okay with thatcan’t be mad at that first kid islooking good still have a ways to goI’ll wrap it here shortly and so far Igot to say I’m pretty happy with the OhWeber smoke fire nothing is really[Music]disconcerning to meso this brisket has been going for about14 hours almost on I boosted up thetemperature to 275 about an hour ago 180for internal the heat has beenconsistent the entire time the probe hasbeen consistent the entire time Ihaven’t had any problems at all frothingpaper everything is working good Inoticed that I have been going through adecent amount of pellets look for 14hours I went through one bag and prettymuch this is what’s left of the secondbag so I would say that it goes throughdecent amount of pellets butit’s $1,000 less than the triggertimberline so no no I like itI’d say I’m completely happy everythingmost consistent with this unit that Igot I didn’t have any problemseverything’s working flawlessly nextI’ll cook a some flat meat some highheat I got four pieces so I’ll put themon different parts of the grill and do aheat test on different parts of thegrill to see if the everything gets hoteverywhere but I’m thinking thisbriskets going to turn out just the wayI want it I don’t see I have nocomplaints besides I think it goesthrough a little bit more pellets thananother pellet smokers I have had atrigger and this one seems to go througha little bit more yeah whoever smokedfire $1,000 less than the triggertimberline I think this is a better buyit has the drip system everything isdripping in there nowhere else you mighthave to clean the bottom of the smokerbut it’s not going to be as much as aturtle would beI’m definitely a Weber smoke fire fan Ithink they played a well that’s just myreview it’s built well it’s went 14hours cooking a brisket probably stuffto go a couple more hours so I’ll do afinal video with the final results ofthe brisket but I don’t I don’t foreseeforecast any problemsmy unit has been consistent it’s beenpushing out smoke the whole time evenheat and the probe has been readingaccurately for me so here’s the finalupdate on the brisket amazing smoke ringsmoke ring on it juicy as can be I amvery pleased with how this brisketturned out just a little fat cap rightthere that dangle testI mean break it apart one hand easyreally like the smoke ring smoke ringspretty awesome looks good so should youbuy the Weber smoke fire I think so I’mhappy go out go get yours
